I borrowed a friends copy of parakeets for dummies and then just had to buy my own copy. This book is great. It may not be a big as the other bird books but it still has all the information a first time parakeet owner needs. A great read for a parakeet lover.

i got all my education about parakeets from this book...this book is packed full of info...great

Pros: very informational, big, training tips, care tips and notes from the author
