This cheap plastic container's lid keeps falling off, the one wheel falls off every time I move it at all, and it is in no way at all airtight! It is a cheap plastic lid with a foam/rubber ring inside it that don't even close tight. I would not recommend this.

I use this product to store my dog's food without a problem. However, the wheels are misleading. I attempted to roll the product and one wheel caught an edge. The housing where the wheel was stored cracked, and due to the container's simple design the crack went up the entire back of the container. Now the container is ruined simply because I attempted to roll it.

This is something great to buy because it doesn't take up to much space ,and keeps food fresh. It is so much better than have your dog food in the bag and it very easy to pour out the food.

I bought the 8 Qt version to store food for my Pomeranian but wish I had checked it our more carefully. It is awkward to hold and pour, plus the lid comes off very easily even when it seems snapped on.

I bought three of these. Two are just fine after 3 or 4 years. The gasket has failed in the third; we started finding dead flies in the dog food. It is 3 years old. When we found the flies; we threw it all away, washed the canister, and put in a new bag of dog food. We just found more dead flies so now we know for sure it didn't come out of the food bag.

I purchased 2 large and 2 medium sized Top Paw Airtight Pet Food Storage Containers. Since I feed wild birds, I needed containers to keep out the rats and mice. We live out in the country surrounded by avocado, Fuju persimmon trees and wild country vegetation. Since storing the bird seed in these containers, the rodents quit coming to our patios. Nothing gets in those containers. Each container has wheels so I roll them to the feeders.

I have 3 of these. 2 big ones that can hold 30lb bags of food and a smaller one for treat storage for my cat and dog. My cat likes to rip open food and treat bags and this prevents it. Also keeps the food fresh.

I've owned the 55 qt size for sometime and use it to store my dogs food. I've never had an issue with ants or any other pests getting into this bin. The hinge on the outside makes it very easy for humans to get in and out of yet has managed to keep my beagle out (and that says something)!
I recently purchased 3 more to use for my bunnies litter, bedding and food. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this product.

Bought this to hold my puppy's food. The one i bought said it hold 15 lbs of food. The 11lbs bag of BB Wilderness BARELY fit that container.
But it still is air tight, does not give odd smells and keeps the food fresh even after 1-2 months :)

I am very pleased with this food storage unit. I bought the 27, because the smaller ones do not come with wheels. I had problems, keeping my kitty out of the food. He would always tear the bags until there was food everywhere. But this unit holds 2 full bags, and then some of cat food. The latch clamps down pretty secure. My Jack is a little madman and usually gets into whatever he is trying to get into. But mommy has won.
Pros: easy to clean, durable, Spillproof

I had purchased the 55 quart size and am very happy with it. It really seels away the stinky food smell and preserves freshness. Great that it comes with wheels - they even glide across carpet with ease!

I've had this container for years and it has been great. Its kept my food fresh, bugs out, and my dogs out. On occasion I've closed the lid, but haven't latched it and I come back later to find my dogs have flipped the lid and are snacking. Thats my fault. However, now I'm looking for a new container because of my newest addition.
I came home yesterday to find pieces of plastic everywhere and he had knocked it over and chewed/ripped apart the plastic lid and ate quite a bit of kibble. The plastic isn't very thick/sturdy. So- if theres any chance you have a food hound and he has access...he can destroy this thing. This particular dog is around 50 lbs, if that helps. So if you have a larger, dtermined breed (lab, shepherd, Dobie, etc) and possible access, get the thick plastic screw top lidded ones!

I bought this product over a year ago, to keep the dog food in my kitchen instead of running up and down the basement stairs to feed the dog. It has been a great investment. Sometimes the kids will push it around and knock it over and the latch stays and we have no dog food spills on the floor. The only thing I wish is that instead of buying the medium size container, is that I would have bought the bigger one. Since the time we purchased this and now is that we have adopted another dog, so now we are feeding for 2 instead of 1. Love the container.
Pros: snap top lid on one end and flips open., wheels make it easier to move around.
Cons: wished i would have bought the bigger size.

I love this storage container! I have the second biggest size and I know that it holds at least 40 pounds (I think the maximum amount it holds is about 44 pounds, or around there). The dog food doesn't exactly smell the greatest, but this container keeps the smell contained and the food fresh. The wheels make it very easy to move and the colours are neutral and go well with almost everything. I am tempted to even buy a smaller size to keep some other of my dog's supplies! I strongly recommend this product.

I washed the container thoroughly before using it and then put my cat food in to store. A couple weeks later when I got the cat food out, it had a very odd smell to it, like from the plastic. I will be returning the item to petsmart because of this.

I bought the 2nd biggest size, I think. It holds a huge bag of dog food. I keep a dog food scoop in there and this makes it so easy. I didn't know where else to store a huge bag of dog food so that my dog wouldn't get into it, so that it's easily accessible, etc. I don't have ants or any other critters in my house so I'm not sure how it would perform in that situation.

I have one for my dog food, cat food, & wild bird food & they keep all the bugs out & keep all the food fresh!!! I can buy a big bag of food & don't have to make so many trips to the pet store. I keep them in my garage. These containers are great & I'm back to buy another tonight!!
