I bought two of these for my yorkie and poodle and they jumped righ into it. They love it! These booster seats are very sturdy. They kind of tilt at an angle but nothing major. I'd like the padding to come in different colors though.

This car seat is awesome! My litle one adjusted to it immediately. Sometimes she sits up watching and other time she snoozes and I like that much better than her being in a crate in the back. The only bit of a problem is that it's difficult to get the frame set up since it's covered by material and you have to get a tube into a small plastic hole. Once you have accomplished that, be VERY careful when moving the seat so the frame does not come apart.....I learned the hard way!

I bought this car seat for my 27 lb mixed breed to keep him out of my lap when driving. I had previously tried a harness securing him directly to the seatbelt, but he was frustrated because he was too low to see out of the window. With the Kurgo booster seat, he is secure and he still has a great view. I was concerned that he might be too big for the seat, but he fits well and appears comfortable. I love that it is collapsible, because it stores easily in the trunk of my car when it is not in use. The seat also arrived very quickly when ordered online. I definitely recommend this product.

my 5 lb yorkie likes this seat and so do I. He cannot get out and get hurt but he is still able to see me while driving. he can look out window

The metal bars that hold this seat together do not stay and keep coming apart causing the material where the bars attach to rip apart. I definitely would not recommend this seat.

I bought mine used and am now going to buy a second one. My 4 lb chihauhau loved it and went everywhere with me in it. He's since passed away and I've got two Shih Tzu/Yorkie cross pups (4mths old). Right now they weigh 4 and 5 lbs respectively and both fit in the one seat without any problems for room or weight. I'm buying a second one for when they are full grown and, just like kids, need their own "window" to be able to look out.

This was a great deal for the price. Very durable with small pockets on the side to put a leash or treats in. I have a Westie, and she fits perfectly, and has enough room to take a nap.

I have a 21 lb. small dog. within 3 weeks of purchase the stitching on strap that goes around headrest came undone. In another 6 weeks the parachute clip that fastens behind the car seat broke. 4 months after purchase the stitching around the edges of dog seat began to unravel. I wrote to Kurgo...no response. Quality for $$ NO WHERE near acceptable.

I ordered this thinking it would be perfect for my chihuahua, however, when I recieved it there was parts messing and it had the most horrible smell to it. Almost like it had been soaking in moth balls. I ended up returning it.

I am very pleased with this product. My little 10 lb. poodle chihuahua mix is comfortable in it. She can see out the window when we travel or curl up and sleep. I don't worry about her jumping out because there is a safety clip that clips onto her collar.
Sky box is a good description for it because it is up off the bottom of the seat and she rides in comfort. It has pockets on the sides that I use to put her treats and leash in.

Received this with the instructions on how to put it together. Only problem is that the U Shaped steel support brace that was supposed to be at the bottom of the back of the booster was no where to be found. Sort of makes me think that this was a resale.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I've had my dog for 2 years, she is 16lbs and HATES carries/crates. I needed something to keep her safe and contained during long car rides, after she completely ripped apart a $70 carrying bag and almost broke her teeth on a small plastic & metal kennel I decided to look into "car seats" for her. At first I tried something that looks more like a children's booster seat, which boosted her up, but had no walls to contain her so she was strapped in but would try to move about the car and end up getting tangled. I finally found this and it has been perfect! She loves it because she can see out the window as well as comfortably lay down and nap. I love that she is happy and safe! It's very easy to adjust and clip into the seat and easy to store! It has lasted 2 years and is like brand new!

I enjoy taking my pup for rides in my car until one day she managed to climb on my shoulders. Purchased a Booster seat. Is the best investment for safety. Good quality. My pet is 18 pounds and holds her up just fine (I'm wondering if the other people with problems installed the front metal support bar). Easy to attach to front or back seat.

My Toy Poodle is 5-6 lbs.
I am very happy with this booster seat and my dog seems to be happy in it. I've had mine for 1 year have not had any problems with it. The exterior pockets are great for storing the leash, treats, and a travel water bowl (all at the same time). I even put a Papillon in it with my Toy Poodle and linked the harness using a Carabiner Hook Clip for the Papillon. Since the Papillon has gone home, I just bought the same booster seat for my mom so she can take him out safely. I am also considering buying one for my sister's dog, a Yorkipoo.

My dog is 10 lbs and it just holds her weight. The advertisement says it can hold up to 30 lbs. I'm not seeing that happen. The front sags a little with her weight. The bottom of the car seat is NOT cushioned. I had to put a pillow in it. This car seat does the job, but it doesn't seem like it is worth $53.00. I had bought a car seat similar to this a few years ago and it had metal bars that went over the back of the seat. It was much easier to use and much more comfy. It was lined with soft fleece. My little Maltese loved it. Tried to find it again and couldn't. This version was as close as I could get to it.

This product is suppose to support a small dog, up to 12 lbs....not the case. If it had straps to hold the front of the bag up too it would work out just fine, but when I put my small dog in the booster seat he looked very uncomfortable and not level in the seat. The seat needs more support to hold the front up. If you have a small dog probably under 7 or 8 lbs it would probably be fine.
Pros: nice looking, made of good material
Cons: not well supported in the front

This is the perfect pet seat! Our Toy Poodle loves it! He only
weighs 5 lbs and we dont worry about him moving around.. he
has plenty of room to go from side to side looking out the window or he can peek between the seeks to see out the front window. We take him everywhere and hes always so happy to go and ride in his seat! Its so sweet to see! I would

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, MY DOG PENNY(JACK RUSSELL) LOVES HER CAR SEAT BUT SHE IS A CHEWER AND ON OUR WAY HOME FROM MAINE THIS MORNING SHE MANAGED TO PRETEND SHE WAS ASLEEP IN HER CHAIR WHILE ALL THE TIME SHE WAS CHEWING HER WAY LOOSE FROM THE STRAP AND SHE MADE IT..EVEN THO SHE DID NOT KNOW SHE WAS FREE, IT DOES NOTHING FOR HER SAFTEY..SO BEWARE AND CHECK THE THE STRAP OFTEN!!!PLEASE MAKE ONE OF STEEL!!!

this is a nice booster seat for small dogs wh oget whiney and fussy in a crate/ carrier. The only downside to it would be that the strap broke the second time i used it. so, i bought another one and it worked great. my puppy even sleeps in it sometimes. it's great for long trips, or short jonts across town.
