i got this when i accidentally removed too much beneficial bacteria by replacing the filter pad and doing a water change, and the water got really cloudy from a bacterial bloom. I started adding this weekly and it cleared up quickly and my fish and plants have perked up a bit.

The only problem is the price of it but it is worth it if you want to have a healthy aquarium!

I was able to add 2 Clownfish and live rock 4 days after setting up a new saltwater tank. I am now 3 weeks down the road and no issues with my tank.
