This item seemed a bit expensive for what I got...but it has lasted almost 3 years now - it's very durable, and you can take it apart and make blocking gates with it. I've used it for my Lab when he was a puppy, and still use it for him now at 2 years old. It does slide around on kitchen floors...and if you're dog is eager it'll slide around on carpet too.
It comes with stakes, which is really only good outdoors. But we took the gate apart and fastened one side down to one wall and the other side to another wall with the garage door on one side for him to go in and out, but not all over the garage. It worked great!
He doesn't jump up on it - otherwise it'd probably come down (not that sturdy on it's own). He has jumped out of it once, without realizing what he did (it was next to a bed). So if you have a dog who jumps it's probably not tall enough.
I'm happy with the item because out of the 3 gates/kennels I've bought, this one has lasted me the longest, through traveling, moving, and camping.
The product is only somewhat durable. The joints in between the panels are loose and when the dogs stand up on their hind legs and put their front feet on there the whole things clanks a lot when they are eager to get out. The clasps provides to secure it together are a bit weak and one broke rather quickly even though this product was set up and only disassembled one time. I only used it for my one puppy, a 10 pound pug.

I bought this for my Old English Bulldog puppy that is only 2 months old. He weighs 12lbs and the box said can hold dogs up to 25lbs. He cant knock it over but the supports keep popping off and making the pin so flimsy. I got this so I could put him in it while I was cleaning or getting ready in the morning and not in the kennel all day and I will be returning it soon. He can push it around all over my kitchen which is not a big deal but then the supports pop off. But he cant push it over so its a plus.

I love this pen! I use it for my rabbits, in my garden, and they love to hop around and eat the grass.

I have an 8lb maltese and 15lb poodle mix.
When I first bought this product, I wasn't happy because the clasps provided would break easily. I suppose I can buy replacements somewhere. For a long time, this fence was collecting dust. Also, my maltese was better trained so he rarely bolted out the door or got into trouble.
Recently, we acquired our 2nd dog, the poodle mix. He's still a puppy and he's eager to bolt everywhere - from room to room, from inside to outside. He's a happy free spirit, too quick to catch and can be very mischievous. This gate saved us many times. I now have the gate in a "U" shape around our front door entrance, using the last panel as a "door" for us to walk through. Please be aware that this pen can get pretty flimsy. However, all you need is a couple heavy items to stabilize the ends. Also, you can put the end panels in a 90 degree direction to help stabilize too. It takes some practice to handle the product. The fence isn't that tall, so I recommend this fence only for small dogs/animals less than 10lbs that cannot jump or climb.
My fence climbing poodle mix hasn't been able to climb the fence, possibly because he knows its shakes a little.
I'm very pleased with this product. If I needed to, I'd buy another one.

My keeshond is 3months old, I purchased the 36"high pen and he has already figured a way to climb out. Do they make a safety rail to go around the unit.
Pros: i would recommend this for a smaller dog

9 week old husky Zihna in her play yard :)
This is very easy to set up and take down. It comes with stakes to secure it in the ground outside. My 9 week old Husky puppy will climb out of it lol. But at least it does not tip over while she is climbing out even without the stakes. It is still great for training her since I have a second dog and that way I don't have to lock him away to get all of the puppy's attention. I think this would be definitely great for smaller animals or puppy's that don't climb ;-) inside or outside. Not so good for husky's but they are escape artists anyway.

I'm not fat, I'm big boned.
We basically impulse bought the 36" version of this pen when we discovered our bunny could jump out of a cheaper 24" model.
This one is great! Very durable (she can't push it around) and has a convenient door. Gorda is very happy with her new home.
My bunny is half Flemish and weighs ten pounds and the 36" pen is a great living space for her. Highly recommend.
Pros: durable
Cons: expensive
