I have this for my 29 gal. It matches my room decor very well. I do not find it wobbly at all. My only complaint is that it gets scratched easily.

This is a nice fancy looking stand, good price and has two small doors in center to hide the goodies, I stored my zoo med 8outlet timer tetra 60 galon air pump, fish food, fish net, water conditioner, fish food, stress Zyme, and accesories, and still have room for more.BUT THE ONLY THING I WASN'T HAPPY ABOUT IT IS THAT IF YOU SPILL WATER ON STAND THE NICE WOODEN FINISH LOOK ALIKE(starts to peel off)

I bought this for my 37 gallon aquarium. There is no way that I am going to trust this stand to hold that aquarium. It is very wobbly and feels like it will fall apart with the slightest bit of weight put on it. Hopefully I will be able to return it.

The component pieces are not machined well. Screws will chew right through the soft wood on the legs, making the product unusable.
In all seriousness, the idea of legs for a aquarium stand is probably not the best notion. These legs essentially bolt on external to the body of the stand, making it even flimsier.
Had to return in the end. If you are looking at this product, just look in the other direction, as Petsmart carries many excellent stands. This is just not one of those good stands.

I bought this stand over a year ago and the paint has been a problem from the first month. Along the edges of the top, the doors, and the shelf under the doors the paint has come off. I keep baskets on the bottom shelf for storage and use them most often yet the pain seems just fine there. I am unaware of anything rubbing where the paint has come off. The other major complaint is that the 'wood' swells when it is exposed to water! Normal except the fact that this is sold as a stand for an aquarium. I stored a gallon of distilled water in the cabinet door and it leaked and caused major wood damage. I now keep my water gallon in a plastic bucket. The reason I gave 2 stars is because it has stood under a 37 gallon aquarium(15 months) even under the water damage for better than 6 months. It is also very attractive with the baskets underneath and if you painted it and could get paint to stick it would make a great piece of furniture away from water of course.

I bought this stand at the store and got it home to assemble. First off for what you pay for it I can't believe it is made of pressboard. How do they REALLY think that is secure. The cam screws didn't fit properly. They were either too loose or didn't go in flush. As you're putting screws in the pressboard is chipping and crumbling around it. After over and hour of trying to assemble it the stand is VERY wobbly. Actually has a tilt to it. There is NO WAY I am even attempting to put my 37 gallon tank on this. I am bringing it back tomorrow to the store exactly as it is and asking them if they would trust putting a tank on it. I'm getting my money back and I think I am going to build one myself with real wood.
Cons: Hard to Install, flimsy

We purchased the Durham stand for the 29/37 gallon tank. All of the pieces were there. I began assembling just as instructed on the instructions. But one piece would not fit flush with the legs like it should have. In the process of trying to get it to fit, we cracked another piece of the pressboard. It is made of pressboard, except the top and legs are solid wood. But the legs are wrapped with some kind of black tape or material (instead of painted) and it wasn't on straight, so it was bubbled up. So, we're returning it and purchased a different one. We even bought it on sale, but it definitely wasn't worth even the sale price.

This stand is really nice looking, but the cam locks did crumble to bits with the slightest pressure. Also, I was missing some dowel rods and I had to make do without them. The top corner was crushed, so Petsmart is going to give me a top, cam locks, and dowel rods from another box. The box of the stand I bought was damaged, so I should have known better. I was anxious to get my new 55 gallon tank up and running, but I haven't been able to because I have to get the new top first. It's been very frustrating. I wish I could have taken the stupid thing back.
Pros: nice looking stand
Cons: cam locks crumble

A pain to assemble!

Though the aquarium seems quite sturdy, It was a pain in the rear to assemble. It took me about 8 hrs!! It was difficult as heck to tighten the cams and just when I was about to take the whole thing down and send it back, I must have turned the cam the right way or something because it miraculously tightened! Just when I thought I was at the "promised land" I realized I had the side panels on the opposite side and so couldn't screw in the handles!!!!! I thought I would have to take the whole thing down and start over but it was simpler to change them than I realized and I finally got it done. They should do more explaining in the directions instead of just diagrams like " this goes on the left, this the right and this side should face this way." I put a lot of nicks & scratches in it trying to assemble.
Next time I will buy one right off the floor already assembled, esp. if I have to do it by myself again. If you have help, it should be a lot easier.
Pros: sturdy though i did get size larger than aquarium, roomy interior cabinet doors snap close
Cons: pain to assemble, color kind of dull

The stand is very good, it is sturdy. The only problem is that some of the holes that were drilled to built it were not the same size of the screws that came with it. My husband had to make the holes much bigger in order for screws to screw. Overall, good purchase.
Cons: holes to screw are not big enough!

I bought this stand for my 29g aquarium last year. It was easy to put together, and is very strong. It seemed a little wobbly on my carpet without a tank on it, but once I leveled the stand and tank and filled it, it is very sturdy! I have knocked into it plenty of times, more than I can count, and the stand barely moves. It is very nice looking, and the bottom has just enough room to store a 10g aquarium with a screen top. I have kept a 10g, small animals cages, and even storage containers on the bottom of this stand! The storage is very useful, although I wish it had enough room for me to put another aquarium under it.

We bought this stand to support a 29 gallon tank. The stand looks nice in my livingroom and is very sturdy. It has quality hinges and ample room to store all my supplies. I am upgrading my tank and I am now going to buy a larger version of the same stand.

Cons: none

I just got this stand to hold my new 30 gallon aquarium I ordered. My dad is usually the one who puts things together but he is going through chemo so everything is now up to me to do by myself, I have very little experience in putting things together. However this is a very very simple stand to put togethe, I needed no help or to ask any questions, everything is possible for someone to put together without help as long as you are able to tighten screws on your own, you can do this by yourself. It looks even better than the picture and i'm very glad I got this stand, it really looks great in my room, I would definately recommend this.
Pros: easy assembly, great apperance, good storage space for accessories
