I use Arm and Hammer multi-cat litter and I love it! It has a slight scent to it but cats do not mind and it really masks the odors. It smells "fresh" and not over powering. We kept the litter box in the kitchen for the first week that we had the cats (we were using the original Arm and Hammer litter in the beginning because that is what the animal shelter used) and we did notice the smell after a few days. Once I switched over to Arm and Hammer multi-cat, I did not notice any bad odors (I also scoop out the litter box 1-2 times/day)! We also use a jumbo litter pan now with hood. Highly recommend this litter! You can buy it anywhere plus it is inexpensive.

This is the worst cat litter ever... I replaced the litter just last night, and this morning i woke up and smelled a weird odor (similar to body odor/ rancid armpit sweat). at first i thought it was me, so i took a bath. the smell still lingered, so i took a bath again..
turns out, it wasnt me! IT WAS THE CAT LITTER THE WHOLE TIME. not even one day and this thing smells like BODY ODOR!!!!!! also its so freaken dusty!!!! also i was wondering why there was mud-like dirt tracks nearby the litter box... this thing is soo dusty... kitties fur was dusty, too... ergh... switching back to my old litter , Swheat litter. it works wonders but it is expensive..... but makes my cat's waste smell like pancakes....

This is the best litter ever. I've been using it for 6 months now and I will only buy this long as they continue to make it. Superb odor control. And completely scoop-able. Fresh lemon scent that covers up even the worse smelly times! We only have 1 cat but he is a very large cat and this is perfect.

I have 3 cats and have tried many different kinds of litter. My female cat is very picky and won't put her paws on just any litter. This litter is great, clumps well and controls odor as well. I definitely recommend it!

I have been using Arm and Hammer litter for years...have tried others and always come back to Arm and Hammer! Clumps well and easy to refresh. For those of you whose kitties don't like the smell, buy the unscented. For those of you noticing a "kitty waste" odor, try a premium cat food. If you use a cat food without byproducts, there is less elimination and little to no odor as kitty's body actually benefits from all the ingredients instead of having to get rid of garbage that is of no value to their health. Just my opinion but has worked wonders in my home and I have 5 cats.

Odors are gone!

Pros: I use the multiple cat clumping brand. It lives up to its promise and destroys odors. Leaves a pleasant smell. Have not have the dust problems others have mentioned.

Cons: Urine does tend to go straight to the bottom before any clumping action occurs. I have a rolling litter box so this is not a real issue. I can see where it would be annoying in a regular litter box. I was an avid Fresh Step user until I tried this. Much better at controlling odor.

This actually made the litter smell worse!! It had a really disgusting smell when I was scooping out the litter and the entire laundry room smelled really bad!!!! And it releases ALOT of dust

I've had some cats that this has worked on, and some cats that this hasn't worked on. It is very dusty, and I have had a cat that refused to use it because of the scent - but she refused to use any scented litter, not just this one.

Generally, one big box would last me one month for a single 12 lb cat. If I cleaned it every other day. Definitely lasts longer if you clean it every 2-3 days.

Me and my wife purchased this litter for our ((1 CAT)) After just the first time using it, there were little kitty paws all over our laundry room. Then we noticed that when we would pet the cat, SHE WOULD BE COVERED IN DUST. There is no clumping, it just soaked all the litter and combined it all at the bottom. Yet, the worst thing about this litter must be its ability to mask smells. Within a few days of changing it, the ammonia smell would be so horrific i couldn't even get our clothes out of the dryer. The worst kitty litter...EVER!!!!!!!!

Pros: cheap

Cons: everything else

This has got 2 b the best cat litter. My cat had been constantly going dodo outside the box. I could not figure out what was wrong with him. I was even thinking about taking him to the Dr.I got this litter and he has been happily going in his box and buried it 2. The litter has such a nice smell also. I told him that mommy will be buying this litter from now on. He looked at me and gave me a very happy face. I think he even smiled at me.So we are both thrilled along with the rest of our family.

I used this for about two months. I scooped the litter box every other day, and I have one cat. It smelled after a few days, though it wasn't over whelmingly smelly. My cat didn't really like this litter either.

it clumps okay...if it stays in the litter box longer, the clumps tend to not break easily.
it's very dusty...when i arrange the litter...i could literally see the dust flying...
the smell masking is okay. sometimes i smell it sometimes not. my cat does not produce stinky wastes

BEST SO FAR!!

I have tried many different brands of litter but this one is by far the best. When I used tidy cats, the clumps of urine would actually fall apart and crumble as I scooped them out. That doesn't happen with Arm & Hammer, everything clumps well and stays in one piece which makes everything smoother. It also covers smells much better than any other litter.

I used several other brands over the years, and I can tell you that Arm & Hammer Multi-Cat Clumping Cat Litter is the best I've ever used. It controls those nasty odors far better then all the rest. I give it five stars.

This litter is awesome! I have 1 cat and he is a little stink ball and I got this mulit-cat litter and it's great! I would recomend it to anyone, it could work for even 1 cat.

I fostered kittens for almost two years and tried to stick to non-clumping litter when I could - but sometimes used clumping with the older ones. I now have 4 cats and have tried many brands. I don't think the perfumed smell is that strong or is particularly bad. Some boxes of the product seem to be a little dustier than others, but generally the dust settles quickly after pouring it in the litter box - and I don't see dust flying when the cats are scratching in it. Fresh clumps (less than 20 min old) break apart somewhat when scooping, but older clumps are fine. I don't notice any odor problems and haven't felt a need for any additives to mask odor. There is some tracking, but the large litter mats in front of the litter boxes catch most of it. None of the kittens nor my older cats were fond of Feline Pine or Yesterday's News. If there was something else available in another litter box, they chose the other option. World's Best Kitty Litter didn't control odor, in fact it seemed to react with urine to generate a repulsive smell. Scoop Away is THE major dust producer - left a coating of dust from ceiling to floor on anything in the area and a visible cloud of dust when cats scratched in the litter box. I haven't found anything that's perfect, but I use Arm & Hammer regularly because it does the job effectively and is reasonably priced.

when i first got this product it was because of the name and I thought it would it may live up to the reputation but sadly it didnt at all. for the first few days it was horrible when i had to clean it up and i would scoop the litter twice a day. the clumping action was pretty good i have to admit that but it did leave some tracking on the floor.
when i told my mom about the smell she suggested to put arm and hammer baking soda in it like the one you would in the fridge. i thought she was nuts but i did it anyways and it was a change like night and day. i highly suggest getting this stuff because once you add more of the baking soda it helps it so much and my cat still has no problem using it.

Pros: clumps has a nice smell cat loves it

Cons: has tracking
