My cat absolutly loves the tuna. I started getting this because I had previously bought tuna from the store and used that. I figured the Blue Buffalo stuff was safer as it was prepared for cats and we had such success with the dry food.

I feed the tuna as a treat to my cat even though it is just normal food. He loves it. He is not the most friendly cat but will eat this off a fork. He goes straight for the tuna and will make sure it is all gone before he moves on to the dry food.

He loves all the flavour options that Blue makes in wet food so he gets variety. He even gets excited when he sees the can!

Pros: high quality, digestible, taste

I have one cat with diabetes and have focussed on feeding her better quality food without by-products and grains.

This manufacturer's wet food, while expensive, has improved her diabetes drastically. She is not generally fussy (thankfully) but really prefers the salmon flavour over the chicken. I have not tried the other flavours.

My other cat, who has urinary tract issues and who is incredibly fussy will eat the salmon flavour ... YAY!

Pros: helps diabetes

Cons: a bit expensive

Though the product is described as flaked, the consistency is more like ground beef; it doesn't smell too terribly bad, my kitties love it, and it's only 90 calories a can!
I can feed this to my cats without feeling guilty; they get 1/4 cup dry indoor with 1 can a day.
I like that you can actually see the ingredients mixed in with the product(rice, meat, spinach ect.), and that all of the ingredients are human grade quality.

Pros: kitties love it, human grade quality, only 90 calories

My cat is one of those crazy finicky cats also!

We have tried EVERY holistic approach brand on the market from Innova, Merrick, Pinnacle, By Nature, California Natural, AvoDerm, and a host of others I can't even think of!

We have found that it's a smell AND texture issue. Most cat foods are pate or ground. Our cat prefers flaked KUDOS to Blu for realizing there is a market for our flaked cat lovers!

Also the fact that there's a chicken option! Our cat is insistant upon chicken, if we try to feed him anything else? God help us! LoL

No problems at all with this food. I buy it frequently and both of my cats eat it with gusto. The flaked texture also gives them some variety from the usual pate texture.

We're constantly trying to rotate healthy foods into our cat's diet, to give her some variety. Unfortunately, she gives new meaning to the words finicky cat. She rejects new food, most of the time. The flaked turkey and flaked chicken flavors by Blue Buffalo were no exception. She took one sniff and walked away from her dish.

She prefers pâté style food, so the texture may have been the problem, or maybe there was an aroma to the food that didn't appeal to her. It's a shame, healthy stuff, however we won't be buying it again.

Pros: nutritious

Cons: cat won't eat it
