When we got our Dane pup Ivory or breeder recommended Canidae...It not easy to find here so since she was already in training classes we asked the trainer for recommendations....she recommended Bil Jac and said it has great reviews, been in business for 60+ years, made in USA. So we tried it. Ivory has 4 "brothers" 3 Paps and a mix all love this dog food. The bros vary in ages from 14 to the mix which was an adopted foster who gained weight finally and vet says doing Much better. Ivory is almost 6mo is has broken her 80lb mark and standing looks me in the eye...and she isn't done yet. Her coat is still puppy glossy...messes in the back are less and more "manageable" and no skin problems.

When I got my boxer puppy, Gracie, I decided on Bil-Jac, based on recommendations from other boxer owners. It's a little pricier than I wanted, but well worth it. It's great for her delicate boxer-tummy and she loves it! She gets all the nutrition she needs and an excellent bill of health from the vet. I also feed it to my Siberian Husky, since they can't stay out of each other's food bowls (LOL). When Gracie is ready for adult Bil-Jac, they will both be fed Bil-Jac Adult Dog Food. Well worth the price (even if I have to scrimp a little).

I have a German Shepherd puppy(8 Months now), and when I started him on it, after purchasing IAMS and Science Diet... The difference is staggering. Before his stool was liquidy, and he wasn't regular. Now, his stool is fine and regular; the stool is smaller than with the other foods I fed him. His coat has become MUCH more shiny since putting him on Bil-Jac. He also likes Bil-Jac more than the other foods. Sold.

As it says I have a Siberian Husky going on 9 months old, an Leroy is awesome. his coat is full an he has been healthy healthy healthy.. I get the Best for my dog an this is the best in my book. I have tried the others high dollar brands an it didn't have what i was looking for like this product did. the others was making Leroy grow to fast an makin him uncomfortable, till i switch to this 1.. I have a young chocolate lab puppy, an absolute JOY in my life. When I first got him I fed him another puppy formula dog food, available in most grocery stores. He ate a lot, but still became underweight rapidly, and I knew he wasn't getting the nutrition that he needed. On the recommendation of a good friend I started feeding him the Bil Jac puppy food for large breed dogs. This gave him the nutrition he needs for his rapid growth. True, this costs a bit more, but I soon saw such dramatic differences that it is obvious it is well worth this. He filled out, was more satisfied, his energy level immediately soared, his coat is perfect. Then he came down with the parvo virus, as he was too young to have all his shots and be fully protected against it. He is now fully recovered and the vet said his excellent health before becoming sick was a large part of his rapid and total recovery. I credit Bil Jac for this, and am thankful I had the sense to switch to this puppy food. My puppy will be a "Bil Jac dog" for life, I would never even consider switching to a different food now. He is a joy I plan on having in my for a very long time, and I thank Bil Jac for such an excellent product.

Just adopted a German Shepherd and he's dealing w/ Giardia and had lost so much weight. I've had all of my Goldens on Nutro Sensitive Stomach food and I still think its amazing but needed to find something to help the puppy (who is 4 1/2 months). I bought this Bil-Jac large breed puppy food and he LOVES it. He was not eating his kibble anymore and we were giving him rice and chicken to nourish him. I figured he'd never eat kibble again after the rice/chicken. Nope! He transitioned without skipping a beat. He's slowly gaining weight and he's full of energy. We are so happy to see how well he is on this food.

Main filler is corn, dogs cant digest corn. should contain better fillers for the price. My dogs bowel movements are now supersized because of it.

I started feeding this to my Labradane pup after I adopted her. Before this food her coat was dull and she was a little under weight. After I put her on this food we were getting compliments on how shiny her coat was and how healthy she was looking.
I would recommend Bil-Jac to anyone of my friends. It is definitely worth the extra dollars.

I recently adopted a 4 month old German Shephard puppy. Because he was a little underweight I wanted a dog food that would help him catch up with any nutrients he may had been missing. This food is perfect! Prince never leaves a morsel in the bowl! The vet has confirmed he is very healthy and will grow to be about 125 lbs...I believe this dog food has helped him get that jump start!

Bil-Jac is fantastic. My golden retriever is very picky and also has skin allergies caused by food which make finding a food for him very difficult.Bil-Jac is the only food I've ever seen him gobble up and his skin irritations have gone away!!! I highly recommend this food for picky eaters and golden allergies. A woman who is a golden breeder recommended it to me and it really is great!

Cons: a little bit stinky

Pet Satisfaction
I use this to raises my health puppies. It helps them gain the ideal weight during the weaning process, while being easy for them to start eating. Our puppies seemed to be very satisfied with this product. We have tried other products without the same happy results.
