I have tried many dog foods and this one is is a major hit for my Italian Greyhound, French Bulldog and Boston Terrier. Having 3 dogs I need a dog food that is economical and high quality, which is hard to find. The ingredients are very nutritional and just add a little warm water to make it extra special!!!

I have fed my seven year old Shepherd Pro Plan since he was a pup with good results. A few years ago when I inherited/rescued a Chihuahua she had difficulty chewing up the regular adult Pro Plan, so I switched to the then new Shredded blend, and they both gobble it up.....no need to get the small bite size food for small breeds.

My female dog is 15 months old, I started feeding her Pro Plan Shredded a few months ago. She loves the product and eats it a lot eagerly than the other dry dog foods that I have fed her. Thanks Pro Plan and PetSmart.

My puppy kept eating our dogs food, which was the Lamb and rice, instead of his puppy food, so we finally just switched him over. He LOVES it! He scarfs it down every night, and they love the shredded chunks in it as well.

I have been feeding Pro Plan to my two Whippets for several years. They never seem to get tired of it and they love the shredded chicken pieces. When we're traveling other Whippets want some too. Occasionally I mix in a tablespoon or two of the canned Pro Plan and I especially like it when I can find it on sale.

I have 13 dogs and they loved the shedded lamb, I was paying 28 dollars and change. Yesterday I went to Petsmart and it was 48 dollars... What is going on? I see here it is 39dollars and change... My dogs miss there dogfood!!

We have an 18 month old German Shepherd and we started him on Purina Pro Plan for puppies from the very first day we brought him home. He has done great with Pro Plan. He is healthy, active and loves his dog food. Remo (our GSD) and I highly recommend Purina Pro Plan!

I have a year old GSD who is picky and has a sensitive stomach. I used Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach Salmon and it was fabulous, but I chose the Pro Plan Shredded Blend Lamb and Rice this time just to keep her interested in her food. She literally licks the bowl and waits by it hoping there will magically be more. Her coat is shiny and clean, she is healthy, her stomach is not upset (vomiting), and SHE loves it. Pro Plan is a healthy alternative with valuable nutrients. I am impressed and think it is official: I'm sticking with Pro Plan products! Thank you SO much.

The Pro Plan lamb & Rice was recommended by our breader for both our German Wirehair Pointers (one now deceased due to age) and they have thrived on it. They both loved it and have had no problems with digestion ever.

My dog (45lb female boxer mix) has been eating Pro Plan for years and loves it! Got a new family dog (Female Jack Russel/Beagle Mix) who would not eat any dry dog food only wet. But she loves the Shredded Beef (the jury is still out on the Chicken).

I usually feed my dogs Blue Buffalo,but one day my store was out of my brand,so I thought that this would work in a pinch. Bad idea. My 2 pugs refused to touch it. My maltese ate it without complaint,but I wish she hadn't. It had a very laxative effect on her. I WILL NOT be buying this again.

I have 8 large dogs and they all agree this brand is the best choice. Like one of the other reviewers, I wish there were more coupons. I buy a minimum of over $200, every 6-8 weeks and a break every now and then would be fantastic...... hint.... hint...

Excellent food, feed it to all 3 of my dogs. They all have great coats, good body condition, never too lean or too heavy. I use the shredded blend just because I think the dogs like the variety. My dogs have been picky eaters, but all 3 loved the proplan.

APBTs have sensitive skin. mine especially had a prob. had her try numerous foods. natural, grain free, salmon, half kibble half wet, raw, you name it. nada worked. she's a picky eater but i noticed she'd put on weight after a kennel stay. they told me they feed Pro Plan chicken & rice. so decided to make a full switch. it worked. they love it. she's put on weight, no allergy issues and shiny coats! BUT my only CON to this food is LOW FIBER content. her and my schnauzer's stools became dark, dry, and hard. now i feed them kibble in the day and raw in the evening. and i exercise them longer. they are improving :)

We switched our dogs from a food that was originally grain as the first ingredient. They used to be always hungry and loitering around the kitchen begging for scraps. Since we switched them from this food, they have stopped begging and have seemed more full and content. I am happy so far; i blame the good review on beef being the first ingredient.

I would say this variation of pro plan is definetely better than something like alpo, however the "shredded" variety is has cheaper soy replacements that the original pro plan doesn't, its just the company's way to try and make an extra buck while sneakily giving you lesser quality. I would not buy this when the original is the same price. I dont want chicken and rice replaced with soy in my dog food.

My greyhound/pitbull mix loves this food. She is a very fussy eater. I used to buy Nutro dog food for her, but I had to mix it with wet food in order for her to eat it. Even doing that, she would rarely eat it all. Now that I am giving her this shredded blend she will eat it dry. If I mix the pro plan wet food in with it, she licks the bowl clean. I will definitely continue to purchase this.

Switched my Lab to Pro Plan and he loves it. He now eats all his food when feed, no more grazing. He seems to have more energy and his coat looks better since he's been on Pro Plan.

My super picky pekingese mix absolutely LOVES this food. He will pick out the chunks before eating the kibble but all in all, for the value and quality, it is great dog food. My family all feed their dogs with it now and all of their dogs love it too!
