This product is great. I had an algae bloom that I could not seem to reduce. I used the appropriate amount listed on the bottle before I went to bed. The next morning, the tank was crystal clear. The water's never been this clear. I would recommend this product to any aquarium owner. A+++

I don't like writing review but I had to on this product. I have a 25 gallon established aquarium but did a complete water change so I could have a community tank. I had an algae bloom of brown and hair algae. I researched this product and tried it. I have a heavily planted aquarium. I gotta say, this stuff really works. It's safe for the fish and plants. I have clean environment now. Thanks API!

I had a very bad algae problem, and my snail just could not keep up with it. So I did some research and found this product. Used it after cleaning my tank and it cleaned the rest of the algae off the walls! I went away for a few days and when I got back, the tank was still algae free! I would recommend this product 100%

I was Elated by the results of AlgaeFix. I have had my 10 gallon aquarium for two months now. After the first 2 weeks it had a white cloudiness, probably Bacteria Bloom. After three weeks the water became cloudier and green, greener and greener. Algae Bloom. My tank does get some sunlight. I could not get my tank clear, even with 25% water changes once or twice a week. After adding 14 drops as directed and JUST 3-4 Hours Later...WOW!!! My tank is now crystal clear!!! Its never been clearer. The instructions say to add 1 dose per week thereafter. I definitely will.

My tank was green to the point I had a hard time seeing my fish. My tank was in the dark for the last week.(trying to control algae) I put in the recommened amount for a 55 gal tank and walked away. My husband came in 15 minutes later and was going to add the chemical also. He flipped on the light and said "WOW" my tank was so clear and it was only about 15 mins. It is now 1 day later and the tank is crystal clear. This is a great product!

I thought my tank was at the point of no return i couldent even see my fish the algea in the water was so bad but once i used this in my tank withen about 3 days the water was as clear as the tank glass i would recomend this to ANYONE

I bought this product because I was having problems with algae blooms (green water). I added this to my tank, left my house came back in an hour and my tank was clear!!! I went from only being able to see 1-2 inches in my tank to being able to see the background!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This product works fast to kill the algae growth in your tank. I bought this specifically to kill algae blooms, the green clouds that swirl in the water. It did so effectively.

This product is probably best if used without live plants

This product did not harm my fish (that I'm aware of) or cause a change in their behavior, I was however very careful to not overdose

Remember to clean the dead algae out of your tank

Pros: available in a smaller size with dropper lid, works great

I had so many issues with algae that I could not get under control. Even with water samples no one could help me. And I spent WAY too much money trying to figure out what would get rid of it. For good. I now use this as a "preventative" with EVERY water change and I have not had any issues! A little expensive but well worth it to actually see your fish again!

I had tried many things... barley straw bags, etc. to clear up my small Koi pond. Someone at a pet-store suggested this and it worked BEAUTIFULLY! It was so nice to see all the fish, especially the babies. Needed to re-apply just two more times during the summer to keep it clear.
