"Just want to let anybody that is going to buy this box, it does not WORK and a waste OF your money,the solids gets disposed of but the urnine does not, it will build up on the bottom of the box and create a deep amout of urine build up on the bottom of the box, this is the WORST auto litter box that we have even bought, had to take it back to the store and get a refund, they knew exactly what we were talking abougt when we took it back - DO NOT BUY THIS ONE"

"I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this product. It is so bad. After I week I put my old litter box back and will be trying to return it. The unit shuts off if jostled or a large clump hits the underside of the cover. I works fairly well on solid clumps of urine, but surprisingly poor on the stool, as it grinds it into multiple smaller pieces that are not removed."

Good box - Get the right litter,

Pros: quiet, efficient, low/no odour, worth it Cons: motor broke 1 year on
"I bought this in Dec 09. It performed well and with normal expected cleaning there were no smells.
It did need a high level of maintnance concerning the efficency of waste removal. This was fixed when I found "world's best cat litter". Once I put this in the machine worked wonderfully!
A year later and the top motor broke yesterday. I dont know how to easily replace it. Even though it is now not working it was definately worth the $12 (or abouts) per month it worked. If I can't replace the motor I will buy another one.
Not for a house with a needlessly large cat or for multiple cats (unless both small). My boy is 14lbs and used it fine."

"This was the first litter box my husband and I purchased for our two cats. Great idea, however, doesnt work. It is messy and hard to clean. I also think it was not worth the pricey tag."

"At first i thought that my kitten poops were to small cause it would not go up the ramp... NOO then i changed my cat litter NOPE not that either... Now the thing jsut broke no im taking it back to the store only had it for a month and the thing is useless i had to still clean the box out manually. UGH ... DO not buy this product..... I think they need alil more research on getting the concept of this product right."

"We bought this litter box in May 09 and it has already broken twice. The first time, the company did replace the broken part. The second time, it stopped working and we have decided to try to get a refund. It was just not effective. Additinally, it did not contain smells and litter got everywhere."

"I hated this box and returned it after two weeks. It does not have enough room for my large cats to use it without going over the side. The poo rides a carousel for about an hour. It breaks into bits and makes a mess. It was messy, stinky, and a lot more work than other self cleaning boxes."

"I have had this box in the house for about a week now and it just does not work as advertised. The grate that sifts the litter is not fine enough to catch the pellets of feces so they are not cleared at all. They tend to glob up on the back side of the unit where a scoop can't reach easily. Also the machine is off more than it is on it seems. Apparently there is an automatic turn-off on the conveyor belt that is activated when the belt cover is jostled which seems to be whenever the cats go into the box. The indicator light is on the back side of the machine so you have to deliberately lean over to see if it is on, the bowl movement is so slow you cannot tell just from observation whether it is working or not. So bottom line is good idea but it simply is not functional."

Great Concept, Not So Great Execution,

"So, my boyfriend and I bought this box about a month and a half ago. I was tired of manual scooping and thought this would be a great way to go, especially since the sales rep had high remarks about it.
The first couple of weeks I was skeptical but it did do its job. Like everyone else said, the little clumps stay around the box and even using a scooper are a bit hard to get out. I figured this was a litter choice problem, which could still be the case.
Then after about a month the loud grinding noises started. While we were at home we noticed it gets worse when the cats actually use the box, I've emailed the company and am waiting for a response on this.
The smell is ridiculous also! We use Arm and Hammer spray and Tidy Cats deodorizer and have two air fresheners on the surrounding walls, but this only masks the smell for a little while. I'm to the point that I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money....Hopefully the company will have some suggestions, but to those that haven't bought this yet - yes it's convenient to only pull a tray out and toss a bag away; however, unless you have this box away from smelling range I'd save my money and avoid purchasing."

"Works great 1st day. Waste gets broken up into smaller clumbs while it's making its way up the conveyer. After 5 days it started making horriable noises. Cleaned it per instruction manual, still doing it. Great idea bad execution."

"I bought this litter box due to the ability to just put plastic shopping bags in the bin for waste removal. I didn't have to buy anything extra to maintain this product for its purpose. It was nice to not have to remove waste everyday with the scooper.
Eventually the clumped kitty litter became fragmented into smaller clumps that weren't able to be mobilized by the conveyor. This happened for two cleanings using the same kitty litter as before this problem occurred. The smell was bad almost everyday because of this problem.
Litter becomes scattered all around the litter box from when the kitties leave the box. I have a mat that is to catch this debris, and it was not able to do so. Litter was everywhere around the litter box.
Actually cleaning the bin is a nuisance. One must lift the entire round litter holder to get the waste into a trashbag. The dirty litter wouldn't be able to completely dispense into a bag when the round litter box was emptied. I dreaded having to clean this thing."

"I have been very unhappy with this product for several reasons. First of all, my cat has not adjusted to using it and it has been a good two months (and I followed all of the directions on how to adjust her to the product). She ends up peeing over the side and flinging litter all over the place (and she is not a big cat). The sensor keeps going off so the rotation of the litter box will not happen- I ended up putting a heavy object on top just to keep it operating (I think my cat hits the top when she digs in the litter and knocks it off). As others have said in their reviews, it does not get all of the litter out of the box- the small pieces stay in the litter. It is simply not worth buying this when it is easier to use a manual litter box."

"It can do as it is advertised. However if you have a digger this thing is horrid. My cats love to dig and they scatter litter everywhere with this. it does not make anything easier. I have to constantly disassemble the entire thing to get all the litter that the cats scatter out so it works. As for cleaning it does ok. Littermaid's do better. And it does smell. I had to change back to a litter that clumps better for this but it smells more than the pine that my cats love. So overall not worth it and I got it on sale. If I could return it I would."

"The quality of parts seemed acceptable. There were no defects in the manufacture of the product. Assembly was very simple.
The unit has three sensors that will prevent it from operating. If the unit is not level, it will not operate. If the waste pan is not completely in place, it will not operate. If the cover is not on the waste extraction arm, it will not operate. There is a green LED that indicates that it is operating, which makes it easier to keep track of. All of these sensors are very well thought out.
Pros: It is quiet most of the time. The cat was not scared to use it. It can use old grocery bags for the waste disposal.
Cons: There is absolutely NO odor control. It is actually worse than a normal litter box as it is constantly stirring up litter. The bathroom that it is in smells awful. We have only had it a week, so the litter should not be that dirty yet. It is messy. This thing scatters litter EVERYWHERE, not just the normal that sticks to the cat's feet. The sides are too low, and so the cat kicks litter out when she tries to cover her waste. At the other end, the sweeper part causes some mounding of the litter and it falls over the edge. I spend more time sweeping up the floor and mats than I ever would have cleaning a normal litter box. I have had some trouble trying to get a rug under it, as it needs to be very level to operate. It takes a lot of space. The round pan is big enough as it is, but the cleaner assembly covers almost half of the pan area, making it small for a large cat."

"I have three cats. I have a spare bathroom, so my litter box is in the tub. I kept the old litter box and put this on the floor near to tub. They pass by this box and still go to the old litter box. It makes a strange noise about every 5 minutes, so I unplugged it, and the cats use it until I plugged it in again. I am afraid to remove the old litter box, so hopefully they will get use to the vibration and use this one more. It is better than the other electric boxes, but it needs to be a bigger area for the cats to use and my cats are only about 11 lbs."

"This is a great litter box. I purchased 2 of them because it reccommends that one was good for up to 2 cats and I have 4. This uses grocery store bags and you can go several days before having to empty the bags. Large clumps have a problem sometimes, but overall this is wonderful. We first purchased these because we would leave town for several days at a time and could depend on these to work while we were gone. My brother even purchased one after seeing ours. We did have a problem with the plastic gears, but called the company and they said they had upgraded their gear system and would send us a new gear upon proof of receipt. We faxed over the receipt and the gear was replaced on both. I am very pleased with these."

"We introduced this product to our 3-month old kitten and he took to it right away (the product makes very little noise) and moves very slowly so I'm sure he doesn't realize it moves. The product does remove the larger clumps and deposits them to the built-in waste receptacle but can't handle the smaller clumps which fall through the conveyer and instead get regularly raked. We still need to manually remove these small clumps daily. The product states that you need to use a premium clumping litter (we're using Fresh Step clumping litter right now) so maybe we just need to use another litter. Does anybody who has this product have any sugggested litter brands that work really well with this product?"

"I purchased this litter box because it got great reviews and was very cost effective compared to the other well reviewed automatic litter boxes. I have had it for about a week now. Overall it works pretty decent. I had no problems assembling it or getting my 2 kittens to use it. When you first see it, it seems like its kind of small compared to a standard litter box but that doesnt seem to bother my cats. It is very quiet. I never hear it. It also constantly rotates but its so slow you and your cat will never notice. The continual rotation causes it to keep the litter in a nicely raked pattern. I really like that you just use standard grocery store platstic bags to catch the dumpings.
While the litterbox works well I have noticed 2 issues. First, small half-inch clumps of litter do tend to stay in the box and the conveyor cannot seem to remove them. The manual says to use better quality litter to avoid this issue. I will try that in the future. I also noticed that larger clumps can sometime be a bit to big for the conveyor cover. The conveyor has a large plastic cover and the device will not operate without this cover firmly in place. On occasion a large ball of clumped litter will start up the conveyor and when it gets near the top it will lift the cover up a little. This causes the conveyor to stop and you have to manually clear the oversize clump. This could be easily remedied by a slightly taller cover but so far it hasnt been a regular issue for me. If you notice the box is not being raked be sure to check under the cover for a clump that is lifting the cover. The green power light will go off if the cover it not properly seated. The only other issue I have with this box is that the dumpster fills up pretty quick. While it is very easy to empty you definately need to change the the bag every couple of days or so (at least with 2 cats).
Overall, I recommend this box."

Pros: automatic clean, no smell, my cat loves it. Cons: no on/off timer, doesn't need to stay on all the time.
"I have had the litter box for 2 days now and my cat took to it right away. She likes having a nice fresh clean box to deposits her presents in. I love that I don't have scoop the litter box again. I just pull the bag out of the receptacle and throw it away. No mess, no smell. LOVE IT!!!"
