Pros: too many to list!
Cons: can't buy the catgenie refills in-store.

"FANTASTIC!! I'd reccomend this product to ANYONE who has a cat or cats! The entire CatGenie line is absolutely amazing -- my 84-year old father doesn't have to bother with anything more than keeping the replaceable litter topped off and making sure the cleansing cartridge isn't empty. No mess, no odor, and the 10-year old cat actually naps in the warm litter after it's air-dried. I can't praise this product highly enough -- and when I get a cat again, I'm buying a CatGenie for myself!"
