It's Christmas day and another purchase trying to keep the cleaning down of my bichon frises after being outside. Put them on (cute as ever) sent them outside and watched. The poor things couldn't even run,it inhibited there back legs from extending. Needless to say another purchase that after 5 min. outside they came home with no very pricy suits. Never to be found. Might want to look at my bootie review. I sure could use some suggestions.

I bougth this for my senior pug mix to keep him warm during the winter months(I've yet to find a regular jacket that works for him.) ,and it far exceeded my expectations. He was dry and warm all winter. I've got nothing bad to say about this product.

This suit is exactly what I was looking for to keep Yogi, my 5-yr-old Shih Tzu, warm and dry while he splashes through puddles and digs under leaves. BUT the sizing information on the site is WAY OFF. According to the sizing information, I should have ordered the size 12 for my Shih Tzu. I ordered the 14 to give him a little more room and IT WAS STILL TOO SMALL!! The sizing chart may work for slim dogs like Chihuahuas, but Yogi is a stocky Shih Tzu and the fabric on this jacket doesn't give enough to make it comfortable for him. I'm returning the one I bought and at $50 I'm not sure I will reorder it in a larger size -- which may need to be altered.

Pros: love that closure is on top not on belly

Cons: sizing for stocky dogs is way off
