"Excellent product and well worth the price. The deshedding solution and shampoo are great and leave the dogs coats silky. The furminator brush works miracles and has made an immense difference in the amount of hair left by my dogs in the house. Would highly recomment this product to anyone. Also used the brush on the cats and this worked great too!"

Pros: good value
"I have 3 cats that are heavy shedders this time of year. Of course then they have lots of furballs. Although they will tolerate brushing, it doesn't ever seem to get much hair off of them before they get tired of it. I resorted to bathing them at the advice of my vet. I have tried other shed reduction shampoos with minimal success. This system works! I could not believe the amount of hair in the tub after the deshedding solution. One of my cats wasn't too keen on the shampoo brush, but the other 2 loved it. After the deshedding tool I had enough for another cat! Their fur is shiny and soft and my use of the lint roller has gone down substantially. Also no furballs this week since bathing them! Thanks for offering the kit. The only down side is the microfiber cloth, it is just too much work to wring it out with a wet cat. I just ended up using regular towels instead and it worked great."

Best dog brush ever!,

"I have a siberian husky and they are notorious for shedding! I use this brush weekly and each time i pull off enough dead fur to stuff a couch cushion! But, I am not finding nearly as much fur around the house, , the car, or my clothes! Not only that, its gentle on my dog and he looks forward to everytime i pull that brush out! Great product!"

More Bang For Your Buck? You Betcha!,

Pros: shampoo smells great, starts removing loose hair during the bath, leaves coat super soft and silky Cons: what's with the bathing brush (not useful), towel gets soaking wet quickly, deshedding tool causes static-cling
"After seeing the video of the DeFURminator brush, I had to get one. When I got to PetSmart, they had this kit for nearly the same price as the brush alone, so I got the whole kit instead. I love the shampoo, the prepping solution, and the brush, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the rubbery bathing brush or the microfiber towel. I mean, the bathing brush is so big in proportion to cats and small dogs (awkward to use; I'd rather just use my fingers to massage the soap/solution to the skin) and the towel was completely saturated before my cats were remotely dry (maybe I am just using it wrong?) I just don't get how the towel is supposed to work... unless you're supposed to wring it out over and over? ...*ponders*... If that's the case, I'd prefer to just use a regular towel since there is no wringing necessary. At any rate, it's a great kit for the money and I would recommend it to anyone with longhaired dogs/cats (or for dogs/cats that just tend to shed a lot). At the very least your pet(s) will smell and feel FANTASTIC and you will get a ridiculous amount of fur/hair off of them before it ends up on your couch/carpet/clothes/bed or down their throats (which is likely to show up in one of the other places eventually)!"

"This has to be the best deal PetSmart has offered their customers in a while. This grooming kit is essential (its even in the products name!) For ANY dog.
Many people don't know about the Furminator, but it is the best thing to come to the dog community since Turkey Jerky.
What the Furminator does is take the excess hair in your dogs coat, heavy to light sheders, and gently removes it. It cuts down the hair on your couches and clothing!
The other products included in the kit that are worth noting are a a fast dry towels, which help you dry your dog faster and easier and not having them shake the excess water all over you; the "bath brush" is great to use outside of the tub for a quick go over to get any excess hair out in between grooming's.
Having a double coated Pug, I don't think I could live without this kit!"
