Bought this as a cave for some new fish. I noticed that there was some paint lifting from the middle of the turtle's back a couple of days after purchasing. I pulled it out of the tank and noticed some bubbling of the paint around the back. I returned it back to Petsmart without any issues.

When I bought it, there were no scratches. May have just been an isolated issue but I did not get another one.

Good product for decoration or just giving your pet something to hide in. I got this for my Betta fish and he seems to be enjoying it.

Looks really great, but my African dwarf frog hides under it all the time and I never see him. I also have an upside down catfish that hides under also.

I bought this turtle for my Betta because I got tired of looking at the same ol' stuff in his bowl. It just seemed too small for him.

The item is good and it's pretty to look at it but I'd rather waste my money on something a little bigger.

I've had this little turtle for 8 years, and it's in great condition! It's got some algae on it, but give it a good scrub with soap and water and it'll be as clean as soap. I bought a firebelly newt from Japan when i was younger, and it just loves to crawl underneath it and sun itself on the top. I would suggest this to anyone owning small reptiles.
Overall great product! And great price too!

Pros: lasts and long time, easy to clean

Cons: kinda small
