My dog LOVES this toy. He will play with it until he can't move anymore. He plays with it by himself, with another dog, or with a person(typically me). The knots do come undone very easily, but when it happened I just tied new knots in it and they have lasted almost three years.
I am getting a puppy soon, so I came back to find a toy like this one for the puppy. I didn't think they would still sell the original, and was very exited to find it still here. I am buying one in both sizes for more fun.

I went ahead and bought the mini version for my new puppy and she loves it. It's just the right size that she can run around with it in her mouth, or just lay on the rug and chew it. It has started to fray from her constant chewing and she's almost pulled out a knot, but I think I'll just order another when it gets a little more broken down because she just loves it THAT much.

I bought the mini for my multi-poo when she was 8 weeks old and she played with it non-stop. That was about 1 1/2 years ago and it's still with us. We have since added a yorkie puppy to our family and it's her favorite toy as well.

I agree with the previous reviewer that the knots do tend to come undone from time to time and the rope has frayed, but after 1 1/2 years, it is still a favorite in our house. I'm ordering another so they each have their own.

Pros: my dog's favorite toy, bright and colorful

Cons: knots come undone frequently

I purchased this for my new pup because it was from Petstages and within 1 1/2 weeks, two of the three knots were unraveled. We've retied the knots and they've come undone again. In the past, we purchased different ropes for another dog we had and that rope is still in tact - knots and all.

Cons: knots easily come undone, rope frays easily
