We brought home an older Chihuahua mix rescue a few months ago. I bought her all kinds of toys - a foraging Nylaball, tennis balls, dental chew toys, squeakie toys, and this Hoops Toy.
Of EVERYTHING I bought, this is the ONLY thing she will play with. She gets very excited when I come home and will run for this toy and play tug-of-war with me. She's only 14 pounds, but she's pretty strong. It's clearly not of the BEST construction, but she hasn't damaged this toy at all yet.

My JRT who is a year and a half old likes to chew. When I saw this toy I thought it would be great for pulling on with her..within about 5 minutes the canvas covering was torn off of the 2 rings and she had completely shredded one of the rings. We were cleaning up little red strings for a week afterward. It might be better for dogs that don't chew much -- definitely not for dogs that chew!

My Corgi puppy likes this toy. She chews on it and likes to play tug with it. However, the canvas covering 2 of the rings became frayed and started coming off in pieces within the first 30 minutes of play. It's probably better just to cut off the covering before you let your dog play with it.
