My neighbors German SHepherds LOVE THESE THINGS. I even bring my Red Heeler over to play with it sometimes!! They are destroyed easily though since the dogs aall have strong teeth and jaws.

This is a great toy! My german shepherd Jesse is obsessed with it. It floats on the pond, has been pawed through the sand and has flown many, many miles. It is covered in dirt but flies like the day we bought it. I'm going to have to buy a second in case something happens to this one. Highly recommend!!

My Dog, Lucky, likes it, but he would sometimes ignore it.
He loves it when I throw it to him though.

This is a fun toy that actually does fly. I wanted to play fetch with something besides a ball, actually with something that would go father than a ball so that my buddy gets plenty of exercise.
That proposition turned out to be more difficult than I anticipated. Simon is only 5 months old so I needed an appropriate size, material and price point .
This is where the problem came in...alot of the flyers for dogs were made of very light or very dense materials that did not seem like they would actual fly very far.
I asked a sales person at petsmart and he reccommended the flying squirrel. Yes it looks even weirder that most of the disk type flying toys but it sails or flys great and Simon had a great time with it.
I can only imagine that the larger one would work just as well and fly even farther. Buy It Youll Like It.
The only down side is that it does have rubber feet so you cannot let your dog have it as a regular toy. The label includes this caution as well. It says: This is a fetch toy. I would agree with them and put it away after fetch time is over
