We tell our pit bull to go her E.R.T. and she goes and gets her Kong chew toy! She has stopped eating my house and furniture and focuses on her toy. All other toys have fallen to the wayside. If you have a large breed dog that destroys all toys, get this you won't be disappointed. You may need to fill it with peanut butter or other treats to get them really interested in it, but after that I don't believe you will have a problem. Good luck!

I've had this toy for years. I often fill it with peanut butter and treats and stick it in the freezer overnight. Hand it to a dog as I leave for the day, and he is happy all day long.

I have two pit bulls, a male and a female. I use the XL for the male and the large for the female. They last a pretty long time. One time my male got a hold of the large and chewed it apart in minutes, but as long as he has the XL, it holds up well. Prior to giving them Kong extreme, it would take them literally only minutes to destroy their toys. These are definitely worth the money.

I highly recommend this toy for dogs that are chewers. I have a German Shepherd-Pit mix and she is constantly wanting to chew things. Every toy we have gotten her is ripped to shreds in 10 minutes. But with this toy it has last a month now and still going strong. We like to put peanut butter in the middle to give her something to go for. I will say the one we bought is a bit too small. She tends to get it stuck under couches and tables. So we will be going up a size. Definitely worth it!

Extremely durable! My dog's favorite chewtoy. I put peanut butter in the kong before I leave to go somewhere. It keeps him occupied until I get back. Even without a treat in this he loves chewing on it. Great for all power chewers because it comes in different sizes according to the dogs weight.
Ive had two problems with this.
1. This items has many places that are hard to reach and makes cleaning it difficult.
2. When I first got it my dog did not like it because of the strong new rubber smell. Over time the smell went away and now he happily chews on it.

My 8-month-old labradoodle puppy was able to bite pieces off from around the opening of this product. So I had lots of black bits and medium size chunks everywhere. He always was able to get the treat out of it within 3-4 days. It took him awhile to create a larger opening. And then you also see bits of this product in ... you know where. So, I would highly recommend supervision while your dog is playing with this product.

I just bought two yesterday for my 9 month old black labs. You will not be disappointed. They are excellent because it keeps them occupied. Mine are normally hyper and they were so determined to get those treats out they didn't care about anything else while they had those. I used our own treats but I am sure the Kong one's would be great too. I can't wait to go buy the spray to put in them. They normally have very short attention spans too so go buy these if you don't own one. It was such a relief to see them enjoying those so much.

This is the ultimate and best toy for my extreme chewer! My little spaniel mix could get through the original kong fairly quickly, but she tried and tried, but couldn't get through this one. This also is helpful to stop dogs from chewing your furniture!

We use this when we put our lab pup in his crate. He loves chewing everything, so this gives him plenty to do for the couple of hours or so that he has to be in the crate. It is to the point now, when he sees the Kong being stuffed with a few treats, he goes into his crate and waits to get his Kong. No other chew toy has lasted this long - thanks for making it lab-chew proof!

After my boxer american bulldog mix puppy destroyed every toy that I had purchased I tried the kong. I was amazing how the kong filled with treats and peanut butter kept my boxer so entertained. My baby girl dances and starts jumping when she see me get her kong and rushes to her crate, patiently waiting for her treats in the kong. She loves it with peanut butter, I put in the freezer long enough to get solid, and it takes her longer to get all the goodies out. The kong has saved my sanity with trying to find toys for my baby. Now that she 14 mos old, she still love it even when it has not treats in it.

This is the only toy I have found to stand up to my extreme chewers! Two of my 3 large dogs share a couple of these toys and they are awesome! Only have to replace them every 6 mths to a year! They chew on them constantly and one even sleeps with hers. It has to be the black one for the big chewers! Awesome product! I tell everyone I know about it!

I love this chew toy. My puppy has chewed on everythimg he can find at home. My kids toys, shoes, paper and even are rug. Once I got him this chew toy he is to busy chewing to damage any more of are thigs at home.

We have a female Rottweiler and she can chew through anything but Kong products in particular this one. It keeps her busy throughout the day trying to get to the treats inside. This is the only durable toy we can get her that will not break. It is great for those strong chewers!

I have a 1.5 year old coonhound who is an extremely tough chewer. This toy has held up really well with only a few tooth marks here and there. No rips or tears, and she hasn't been able to rip large chunks off like she does with other toys. She likes to play with it as is, but also enjoys when we stuff it with food for her. If you have a highly intelligent dog who requires a great deal of mental stimulation, you can use this toy stuffed with food to provide a challenge for them. If you stuff it and then freeze it, it will take them even longer to get through. Overall I would highly recommend this toy to any owner of a tough chewer.

On those freezing cold Canadian winter days that my pup absolutely loathes because hes stuck inside the apartment, theres a kong filled with peanut butter to entertain him.
Its a lifesaver for us both. Also, I'm pretty sure it'll outlast him.
ps. Hes a 70 pound olde english bulldog.

I have two golden retrievers that love to chew. The Kong Extreme is the only chew toy I have every bought that actually does last and that they haven't destroyed! A Kong with peanut butter is their favorite!!!!

Having a 3 year old chocolate lab. This toy is always our go to. Fill it with dog food they haven't finished yet, or some treats if they're extra good. Top with some peanut butter and they're busy for hours. This toy LASTS, I've had the same one for 2 years now. Just wash frequently, soap and warm water! Enjoy!
