I have a 9 year old Lhaso Apso who is missing his 4 front bottom teeth so it's hard to find toys that he enjoys. Normally, I would buy him a stuffed animal that squeaks and within a day or two, the stuffing would be all over the house and he would have gotten the squeaker out. I bought the Senior Kong hoping it would spark some interest and it did! As soon as I got home I popped one of the Senior Kong treats into the end of it and showed it to him and he worked at it until he got it. Now I normally put a treat in it when I'm about to go to bed to keep him occupied. He absolutely loves it and would recommend this product to anyone!

We have a 17 year old Jack Russell Terrier, and we recently brought home a 7 month old rescued wirehaired terrier mix, who enjoys chewing on kongs like you cannot believe. We recently found our older dog chewing on the puppy's kong, and we decided she needed to bring out her inner puppy, so we bought her one of these Senior Kongs. She enjoys it very much and it is very easy on her teeth.

I bought this Senior Kong for my female 16 year old Lhasa Apso/Beagle. We had to put to sleep our 22 year old Border Collie/Terrier, yes, 22 years old. And we have noticed that our Lhasa is lost without her friend. By the recommendation of a friend who works with a lot of pets, she suggested buying her a Kong to keep her mind busy till we could find another dog that will fit this family.

As soon as I got home, I popped a treat into the Kong and she has been going at it for hours, she is still going at it as I type this. I really like how the Senior Kong has a much more gentler and softer rubber, but still as durable as the Classic Kong. I'm so glad that she likes this, as she never had a doggy toy before. The old owners really abused her and it is so nice to give her a life she never had as a puppy. To see the puppy come out from inside just make this worth all the money in the world! And seeing her like this is priceless!
