My dog has had 3 ticks in 10 days, the first one I did the tweezer method, I could not get the tick out the head was left in, the vet had to remove it. THE 2ND TICK WE CAUGHT it RIGHT WHEN IT GOT ON HIM SO, I ORDERED THE TICK TWISTER PRO, MY DOG HAD A TICK IN BETWEEN HIS EYES AND IT WAS HUGE. I GOT IT BY TWISTING TILL IT RELEASED, AND GOT THE WHOLE THING ON THE FIRST TRY! VERY EASY TO USE, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND IT WORKS GREAT! I WILL NEVER BE WITH OUT ONE, A MUST HAVE, IF YOU OWN A DOG, YA NEVER KNOW AND IT'S GREAT TO HAVE!

This product was quick and easy! My dog is 12 weeks old and we have found about 4 ticks on her because of our woodsy location. 3 ticks we did with the alcohol and tweezers and it took a while and relocating the tick. The fourth tick we used the tick twister and it worked great and quick! About a week later I found one on my own arm and I decided to use it. It worked within a few twists and got the whole tick out immediately! I highly recommend this for pet owners and familys that love to be outdoors.

Used it another time. Still didn't work.
Used it for the last time. Broke in half.

I don't recommend this product at all, and am very surprised of the ratings below me!

Makes tick removal super easy for the pet. Our squirmy puppy loves to roll in the grass and we have to check her constantly despite monthly preventatives she tends to pick up the little bugs here and there. It used to be such a struggle to get them off until we found this little tool. Wonderful!

I purchased this product last year and have not needed to use it until a few days ago. It was soooo easy and efficient that I could hardly believe it. "Marco" didn't feel a thing. You never have to touch the tick and the tool cups the tick while transporting for disposal.
