i love this item the wheel moves and it just looks great in tank the only thing i would change about it is the air coming out of the chimney being a little much but all in all a great item i love it !!!

I just purchased this ornament for the tank in our tv room and im already enjoying the features as with my semi aggressive fish. Im working on hooking it up as i will have to have a bit of assistance from my dad whose a better fish expert than I am. My only snag for this product but Other than this I think that I made a great choice and my fish will enjoy it! I was debating on getting this or a pirate ship or the rock cave. I liked this old rustic look of this new ornament and it just looks natural. I had a $1 off petsmart coupon from a previous tank kit purchase. I was excited to see that the ornament was already on sale and so i decided to go for this water wheel house. I wasnt even sure if it would have fit in my tank I am currently working on making my tank better looking it just fits perfectly! I have all natural colored stone and green plants fit the theme just as we had hoped for. I highly recommend this product and can't wait to enjoy watching our fish gracefully swim in and around the feature. We are looking forward to watching our fish swim in and out of the windows. We hope the next person who buys this will enjoy this ornament as much as we do.

Saw this item when I was looking for a new air pump and had to have it. Hooked up the water wheel to the new air pump and watched our fish and aquatic frogs explore their new digs! It takes up roughly half of our 30 gal tank and has many places for the fish to hide.

There's a room in the house, a large space under the front of the house, a porch, and space under the palm trees. We were a bit concerned our frogs would get caught in the wheel, but so far all is well!

Fun product and the fish/frogs love it!

This ornament looks awesome in our fishtank, unfortunately our mystery snail was not as lucky... And was ground underneath the water wheel. Overall looks great, just be very careful with the moving parts around your pets.

Great house and all but......

This is a beautiful house, but the problem that I had was that the tube where you connect the air pump to, it would break after a while. We went through 2 of these houses and after the second one, we gave up and got something else. I miss that house. Buy at your own risk, it didn't last long for us.

My betta loves this house! He swims in and out the doors/windows and through the porch. I do not have it hooked up to air and he loves squeezing through the wheel too. It's highly entertaining to watch him. This looks really nice in my 38 gallon tank and I have room to add more things in this theme. I just started my tank so the betta is the only guy exploring the house for now. It's very detailed too. We love it!

I bought this piece a while ago and it looks great in the tank. I have a 75 gallon with different tropical community fish. The moving bit is very interesting and really adds to the tank but isn't so fast that a fish could get stuck inside of it. Unfortunately, my only complaint is that the piece which connects the air tube broke very, very easily and isn't fixable. Now I have a non-moving hut in my tank, it still looks nice but not as nice as it did before.

I'm not a fan of moving decorations since I've seen fish trapped in them and they get very stressed so I never hooked up the air supply to it. Otherwise, this is the best hiding spot for our ghost catfish that don't like to be out during the day. They love this house and all 5 stay in or around it during the day. It allows them to be stress-free during the day and only come out when they want to.

Pros: excellent hiding place

Cons: i don't like moving decorations

I bought this little house along with my 29 gallon aquarium and some gravel and plants and also an air pump. This little house provides so many places for all of the fish to hide and it is really relaxing to watch and hear...when you hook up the airpump to it the water wheel starts to turn and then all of the sudden bubbles will come out of the chimney every 4 seconds or so. I really like this product it is well worth it.

After deciding it was time to switch things up in my 10 gallon I spent about 30 minutes in petsmart debating what would replace my beloved pirate ship.

I finally decided on this little house for two reasons: The watermill completely intrigued me (I've never had moving decor before) and there are plenty of places to hide.

It's pretty large and takes up most of the 10 gallon tank but is very attractive and my fish (fancy guppies and a small pleco) love it. My pleco especially is in heaven now with several new places to hide. The front bottom of this house has an excellent cave and the interior of the house has multiple entrances/exits of varying sizes. The watermill not only turns but the air bubbles come out of the chimney not the water wheel (which I could not have guessed simply by looking at it in the store). And, it's nice and quiet which is always a must.

Overall I couldn't be happier!
