This is the best toy invented. My 1 year old pit bull mix distroys everything I give him within 5 minutes until now. It is by far his favorite toy. The rubber is so thick that he couldn't chew thru it but after about 3 months he managed to get his chin inside the hole at the bottom (trying to get to the squeaker) and would walk around with it attached to his chin. At first I thought it was stuck but he kept doing it (it was too funny). After 4 months he has finally distroyed it and I am online getting him another one. They finally sell it in the store and not just online.

My dog has all three sizes of the bowling pins. He just loves them! Over all the ones I have purchased; I have had to replace one.(he chewd the end off of one) That does not stop me though from purchasing them.

My dog has destroyed every toy we've ever given him in minutes, But this one! we've had it over a year and it's still in one piece, and the squeaker still works! This is his favorite toy and he knows it by name (Squeaky)

Great noise. Motivating for lots of independent play. Molly has learned to toss it, and because it has a crazy bounce she chases it for the longest time. Soft enough for her to chew. Tough enough to withstand her gi-normous teeth and strong bite. Great toy

We bought this toy for our rottie and our boston terrier, 4 years ago!!! after about a year, we took the squeky out of it and have since used it as a dog treat toy. (we break a large milk bone into 3 parts and push them into the pin) we have about 10-12 toys for our dogs and the bowling pin is still the favorite, even without the treats inside! we have since lost our rottie and now have a 11 month lab and the terrier. they have gone through every toy we've tried to buy them, some had to be thrown away the very same day! even the Kong toys can't withstand my dog's brutal playing styles. and the tennisball toys (regarless of shape) forget it! within an hour most of the green fuzz is torn off. but this bowling pin has withstood 4 years of wear and tear, toss and retrieving, tug of war and biting to get the treats. over the past 2 months, it's been showing a lot of wear to the point where it's about to come apart. after 4 years, i was afraid they wouldn't have this toy on the market anymore, but thankfully i was able to find it at Petsmart! so i'm going out today to buy 2 of them! (just so i have a backup) Don't be put off by the price. you'll spend double that in 2 years trying to buy "so called" tough toys. If your dog likes to destroy thier toys and is a hard player, this is definatly, 100%, the toy for your furry friend!

I had bought one of these for my husband mom's border collie Rusty and he loved it. We liked the low squeak! When we got our little border collie we got him one also. Duluth likes to grab the pin by the head and shake it so it beats on the floor or the wall!

My 85 pound lab is an agressive chewer, and this is the only squeak toy that she cannot destroy quickly. It took a long time to break the squeaker inside, I popped it out and super-glued it back, and it was almost as good as new until she broke it completely. It took her 3 months to break through this. I highly recommend this. She runs around the house looking for this toy - it is clearly her favorite!

I have a Chocolate Mastador (Ludo, 10 Months), let me start out by saying he's chewed a metal broom in half before, so when I got him the large Bowling Pin I knew it would be destroyed sooner rather than later. I gave it to him and he went nuts, running around the house, swinging it, jumping around like a maniac. The package was left at my gate so I went to get the rest of the mail at the box...when I returned he'd already ripped the head of the pin off and the squeaker was decommissioned. Hopefully the bottom half will keep him entertained.

Pros: Keeps Pet Entertained

I love JW dog toys! My border collie, Elli, has managed to destroy nearly every rubber squeaky toy that we get her (even Kong brand toys) but we got her the JW bouncing bowling pin toy a year ago and she has yet to even make a dent. Plus she loves it! We were so happy with the JW brand that we also got her the iSqueak bouncing ball toy and it is just as durable and fun as the bowling pin. We also appreciate that the squeaking noises aren't the high-pitched kind that make you want to break the toy yourself. I highly recommend any JW toys, especially if you have a "too smart for their own good" type of furry friend that we do. :)

My puppy has destroyed an air kong dumbbell, a ruffy flappy and pulled strings out of his rope toy. I hit the petsmart website to research better quality dog/puppy toys. Read a lot of positive reviews for the JW toys, especially the bowling pin. Now, I will say I was hesitant at first because all they had at my local petsmart were the medium ($9.99) and large($14.99) bowling pins. The prices are offputting, but I figured if this product had that many great reviews it HAS to be worth it. So far, this toy is worth every penny. Puppy has tossed it around the room, rolled it around on the floor, been chewing on it like crazy and the bowling pin has been going strong. Also, the squeaker is less annoying than other dog toys out there. Best way I can describe it, it sounds very much like a duck call.

One minor note, the puppy did not like the 'taste' of the bowling pin at first and did not want to bite on it at all. Even after washing it in mild soap and water. What helped was to gently rub a towel or a glove over the toy.

Pros: excellent for agressive chewers, bounces on hard floors, squeaker is less annoying than other toys

Cons: prices seem offputting

I have this and several other JW toys for my lab. They are the closest I've come to being indestructable. I only break them out at the park and he goes crazy when he sees me with them. They last longer than anything out there and my dog loves them.
