While my dog didn't seem to mind the scent of this toothpaste, at least no more than he dislikes any toothpaste, I sure did. This is, by far, the worst smelling tooth paste I've ever used on him. I threw it away because it literally made me nauseous to use.

My little poodle mix likes the taste but will NOT let me brush his teeth.I tried both dog toothbrushes AND finger brushes.He licks it off of his teeth every time.

Pros: taste, freshens breath

My dogs usually love having their teeth brushed - they think it's a treat. But they HATED the flavor of this toothpaste. I bought this one because it was on sale, but I went back and bought a "Petrodex" brand toothpaste as I had before and they loved it.

This is a really good toothpaste!!! Good price and my dog loves the taste so much he tries to lick it off the toothbrush!! Anybody who wants a good toothpaste for a good price, this is the one for you!! Con: Doesn't quite do the greatest job on their back chewing teeth...

I have two dogs and I brush their teeth 2- 3X a week.
They LOVE the taste of Mint in this toothpaste.
Gets ride of tarter with regular use.

My dog would not let me put it in his mouth after one try. He hated the flavor. I wish they had more selection at Petsmart. Maybe he would of liked the peanut butter flavor or beef.

I got this hoping to clean my dogs teeth and freshen his breath, boy was i wrong!!! i put it on my finger to let my dog lick and taste it like the directions said, he wouldnt even lick it!! he sniffed and looked at me like i was stupid, so i held him and rubbed it on his mouth and he about threw up, he HATED the taste!! so i would not recommend this at all!!

i have a 7 month old labrador, and the first time i brushed her teeth with it, she LOVED it, now every time she sees me pull out the toothbrush, and toothpaste out she gets so exited. it keeps her teeth nice and clean, and improved her breath so much!

My dog loves when I brush his teeth but found the taste of this toothpaste offensive. He licked it and basically tried to spit it out. He wouldn't even tolerate it a little.
