"The whisker city brand is an all cardboard, cheaper version of similar items with plastic bases that sell for a lot more $. It's the second one i bought (i got the really big one this time) and my cats are all over this thing. I'm not surprised that my guys like these so much because they love paper bags & newspaper, and they sure do love cat nip as well. they will scratch & paw at the cardboard on top, then flip on their sides & lay down on top of it & act all silly. they especially love when i freshen it up with new cat nip. I put it right on top so they can scratch it up to release the smell. It seems to make them happy so that makes me happy, as does the price. :)"
