I actually bought this product in the store a while ago for my pregnant guppy. The plant was very expensive in the store and the stem of the plant snapped off the weighted base in due time. I couldn't get the plant back into the base because I was shaking off the rocks my fish stack on the plant, and bingo! The gravel fit. I only found this product to be useful to let it "cling" to the decoration I bought so the fry could hide and it's working! I can't find them anymore unless I lift the rock to clean it! But I only did that so my bigger fish wouldn't nip at them, and, because they're afraid of the plant.

Pros: works wonderfully for fry, it looks great

Cons: floats to the top quite easily, fish can be afraid of it

This plant is great for any tank but I specificly love it in my bettas tank! It's simplicity compliments my tank. When my fish gets startled he likes to hide in the plant. I can easily give it 5 stars. I haven't had a problem with it! It hasent ever floaded to the top, scratched my fish, or anything! It has a great price, especially when people with more expensive plants even had problems like these. Great!
