Bella is a Blue Buffalo dog. She is a rescue, and I have only fed her Blue since bringing her home 4 years ago. She gets both wet and dry, and loves both! She is partial to the canned Turkey and Beef.

I have been feeding my 14 year old and 7 year old bichon frise's Blue dog food for years. They don't have any skin problems and their 6 month bloodwork exams are perfect. They love the food.

had been feeding raw diet to my five papillons. thier coats were not great.. tested blue buffalo and they love it.. coats shiny, eyes bright, they snack on the kibble blue buffalo wilderness small breed. and have canned morning and nite.. love this product.. they have made the transition from raw nature's variety to this with out problems.. ! thanks for a great product.. one that will stay in this family for years..

Wow, it's amazing to finally see my dog actually LOVE his food. I have tried 5 different dry dog foods, and he would never eat it, which led to us trying the Blue Buffalo canned foods. Even though he hates the BB dry dog food, we mix it in with the Beef flavored BB canned food and he licks every last bit of it! He loves it so much that he could probably eat a whole can in 5 minutes. Although one can can be pretty pricey compared to other canned foods, I rather pay more for a better quality food than one that does not provide all the nutrients.

I have a 7 year old Standard Poodle who has had allergy issues with food almost from the time he was a puppy. We had him on dry food that we had to purchase from the vet, then switched to Natural Balance (dry), which he was on for about a year, but continued to have stomach issues with both of these foods. I finally decided to try BB after reading about it online. His stomach issues have disappeared, no diarrhea or vomiting now. He gets dry food in the morning and dry and wet at night, and waits patiently for me to get his dinner ready, then devours it. He really loves this food and I'm so glad I found BB.

I was having a hard time getting my Pug puppy to eat the recommended amount of wet food to help her gain weight. After introducing Blue Buffalo to her, that is no longer a problem. As soon as I sit the food down, she literally attacks it. I am glad I finally found something that she loves!

I have a 4 year old Miniature Schnauzer, and food has been an issue for the last three years. He has ALWAYS been picky and fussy about his food, but outgrew the food that he loved as a puppy. While he still wanted it, it both the puppy and adult formulas proved to be two rich for him. To make matters worse, he developed food allergies and sensitivities - poultry, beef, lamb, etc. He needed a limited ingredient, low fat dog food with a novelty protein source. I had difficulty finding a food that fit the bill, and used canola oil instead of chicken or poultry fat for mixed topherols, and a food or foods he actually LIKED and would not fuss over at mealtimes. I FINALLY found something that addresses all of his dietary needs in Blue Buffalo Fish and Sweet Potato Homestyle Recipe Canned Dog Food, and Blue Buffalo Basics Salmon & Potato Recipe Dry Dog Food. Today is the first day of transitioning over to Blue Buffalo, and not only did he like it and eat it, he GOBBLED it down, eating AROUND his old food, and actually got upset when nothing but the old canned and dry foods were left. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. Now, hopefully these will address the skin problems and itchiness....

Great Dog Food! My German Shorthair Pointer loves this food... she will howl when you get the can out. I generally mix it with Blue Buffalo Wilderness dry and a little water. I was feeding her Iams, but after doing some needed research I chose Blue. Her coat is much smoother and healthy looking. I don't have to feed her as much and and she has definitely gone from a finicky eater to eating every bit and licking the bowl.

If you want to give your dogs the BEST dog food possible, buy this one. If you only knew what is in many grocery store and pet store brands, you would never feed them anything but a fine, HIGH QUALITY food like Blue Buffalo. Read a book called "Foods Pets Die For" by Ann Martin & Shawn Messonier, DVM and then RUN to Petsmart and buy this. Your dogs will gobble it down. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but you will save a fortune in vet bills. My dogs are all rescues who have had horrible "food" and in the 4 yrs. I've owned them I've fed them Blue and they've not been to the vet once for vomiting, etc. This is top quality all the way!!

I felt guilty just feeding dry, dry, dry so I picked BB in the can to add (using one half the dry). You can only review Homestyle here but my dog had been fed every style including the stews and family favorites. Never any gas on any of them and the last two are almost pure meat. Yes, the stool does seem a little looser from just dry but not so loose you would worry about it.

Judging from my dog I would say if your dog doesn't jump at BB in the can he must not be feeling well. I actually like the Homestyle better since it mixes easier with dry than the meat-rich other recipes. But, of course, my dog likes the meat chunks in the others.

Open the can--you'll probably be tempted to taste it yourself. Weight management may be difficult to judge if you are mixing though calories are printed on every can. I would like to see them add gloucosamine to the cans (they have it in the dry) but since my dog is just at one year I'm not real worried about it yet.

My opinion only: If your dog is getting finicky start adding this into his regular food. I think you will see a difference in his eating habits.

Our Golden Retrievers love both the wet and dry food. They get dry in the a.m. and some wet mixed with dry at night. They get so excited waiting for the food, they dance around! Their coats are soft and shiny. It is a great product and made in the U.S.
It is one of the more expensive foods but does not contain corn or wheat which can upset dogs' digestive system.

Pros: it is a very healthy food

Dixie and Petey are both almost 9 years old. I feed them each 1/2 can of this after they finish the dry food I lay out for them (see review - Blue Buffalo Senior). They both go crazy at the very sight of the can! They soin around and then wolf down every morsel and even lick their bowls clean.

This food is very high quality and actually looks edible; maybe I should try some on a cracker! ;-D

I usually get 4 cans of each flavor and just keep them in rotation but they love all flavors. Their coats are strong and shiny, the eyes are bright, and they are thriving on this. My only question about this stuff is that they recommend a can per 10 pounds of bodyweight (look at label). That is WAY too much as Petey would get 6 cans and Dixie 5 1/2!!!

I always follow up with the PetSmart Dog Biscuits (as should you, any biscuit will do) as this is good for cleaning the teeth and preventing bad breath, Tarter buildup and gum disease (cha-CHING!!!).

Pros: healthy and organic natural ingredients, my dogs love it!!!, good variety of flavors

Cons: a little pricey but worth it

I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are picky eaters when it comes to dry dog food. I mix the BB canned food in with the BB dry food and they lick the bowls clean.

My new yorkie puppy is very picky and we found that she has problems with runny eyes and an upset tummy when fed anything with corn or by products. We introduced her to Blue and she LOVES it! She eats the wet mixed with dry and it makes her clean her plate each time.

I love seeing the chunks of veggies in the wet food. It lets me know I am feeding quality :)

My husband and I searched for a long time to find good quality dog food and we've found it with the Blue Buffalo line. The food does not contain the junk that fills the other food lines and our dogs absolutely love it. They also look a lot better nowadays.

I am very satisfied with Blue Buffalo. I feed my German Shepherd the dry food mixed with this wet food, and she loves it. She's tried every single flavor and always licks the bowl completely clean. It does give her somewhat loose stools, but that's to be expected. I've limited the amount to half a can every other day, which seems to work out well. I would highly recommend this to anyone I know!
