I started to feed my baby bunny with alfalfa hay when he was 3 weeks old. He loves it. I usually refill with timothy and alfalfa 50/50, he eats up all the alfalfa and left the timothy...what can I do,LOL

these arent my guinea pigs, but they are my friends pigs
I have 3 guinea pigs, one is pregnant, so of course I have to feed her alfalfa. And I have a baby boy that is like 4 months old almost 5 so he still needs to eat alfalfa, but when he is 6 months old then i will start feeding him timothy. then I have an adult male who already eats timothy, and I love oxbows timothy hay! But I use alfalfa more than timothy so, this hay compared to kaytee hay (which has crumbs instead of straight off hay.) has thick healthy hay that smells great! When you open the bag, it smells like fresh morning grass. its fresh and healthy for your pig ( or rabbit and chinchilla and hamster and other or all of the above) ( I am crazy about this hay) and will give your pet a very happy healthy life!
My hamster love it. Always have, probably always will. Healthy, and a good price compared to other brands of hay. It's vital for all small animals to eat hay every once in a while, my hamsters always have it available in their cages. I chose this brand because i have always used it, and if my hamsters love it, then so do i! (= Just Call Me crazy =)
Pros: price, smell, taste

My bunny likes half of it...

Half of the package is tough stalks that my bunny Chloe can't eat or doesn't like to eat. I've seen her try munching them, but she ends up sticking to the green leafy part and the stalks get strewn around her cage. It may be because she is 3 months old, but alfalfa hay is supposed to be good for young rabbits so then why is half of the bag going to waste?
Pros: smells great, good for young & pregnant rabbits
Cons: stalks are too tough, not good value
