"This is the best food on the market for guinea pigs. If you love your guinea pig(s) then this should be the food you are feeding. Plus there is no preservatives and it is mad with timothy hay and not alfalfa.

"This is seriously the best food widely available for guinea pigs. It is Timothy based, which is much healthier than Alfalfa if you have adult guinea pigs. It doesn't contain harmful preservatives, artificial colors or seeds/nuts.
Spend the extra couple bucks and get your guinea pigs the best!"

"This is probably the best guinea pig food you are going to find. Most other foods have the main ingredient as Alfalfa. If guinea pigs eat too much Alfalfa, they can get very ill. The main ingredient in this food in Timothy Hay, which is very good for guinea pigs. This food also has an added vitamin C supplement in the feed, which gives it another plus. I seriously recommend this food for your adult guinea pig. If you have a baby guinea pig, then I would suggest using the other type of Oxbow guinea pig food made especially for the young and baby guinea pigs. Even though this food can be expensive, it is worth the price!"

"Recently I was at the PetsMart store and I decided to get my Guiena Pigthe Oxbow food. My Guiena Pig, Bart, really loves Oxbow and is happy to eat it. The only thing I would say is that once you get a Guiena Pig on a normal diet it does not like to change it's habits. So, if you start your Guiena Pig on Oxbow, you will find that it is hard to switch to a cheaper alternative brand. Oxbow is like the Eukanuba brand for dogs, if you own dogs you know what I mean. For the money it is worth it!"

"Even though I don't have guinea pigs right now, this is the BEST pig food you could get for them! This high-quality food used to only be available by order from their websites and at specialty Pet Health Supply stores. Now it is available at your local petsmart! This is great news. I can not say enough about this food.
If your piggy is no longer a baby, I highly recommend you switch to this food. Those mixes that are advertised for guinea pigs are full of fatty seeds and such that can either choke your pig or make him unhealthy. A high quality Timothy-hay based pellet is best. Oxbow is the best! My piggers would squeal so loud when they heard the bag rustle! They just love this stuff."

"This food is PERFECT for guinea pigs. It has all the right nutrients and every guinea pig absolutely loves it. Other brands have alfalfa hay, which is too high in calcium and causes bladder stones, unlike Oxbow. This is the best brand you will ever buy."
