This mix and variety provided by this brand is wonderful for Chinchillas of all types, all of them will enjoy the variety of choices this offers. I normally mix this Brand with Oxbow Brand Deluxe Chinchilla food as together they supply ever resource needed for Chinchillas to grow strong, and healthy, especially younger Chinchillas while also providing a fresh and wonderful smell to every bowl.

I have two chinchillas and have tried a few different brands and types of food, but this one is the best out of them all. The pellets to not become "sawdust" like some foods do and it has a lot of good stuff in it. My chins think the extras are treats, but definitely clean the whole bowl. Chins are supposed to have a variety diet and this food helps. It also smells really good and fresh. I highly recommend this product.

I've had my chinchilla for 3 years now. The hardest thing for me at the beginning was finding a food that he liked. I tried at least 5 different types of food. He either would not eat any of it or pick at the "good stuff." Then I tried Sunaturals, and he loved all of it. He eats every bit of what is given to him. The downside is that the stores in my area never seem to have it in stock. I even tried mixing it with another brand that carried a very similar mix, but he ignored the food all together. It is a pain sometimes going online to buy this specific food, but its well worth it every time I open the cage to feed him and he runs over to me just waiting to fill the bowl.

Great Food!

I bought this food for my baby male chinchilla,Gus, and he absolutley loves it! This food is very healthy for your chinchilla and it has a lot of variety since it contains flowers,herbs,leaves,and even little pine cones! This mix has a lot of nutrients and minerals, however in order for your chin to get all the nutrients he/she needs they need to eat EVERYTING. So, therefore, this food isn't a good mix for picky chins because then they will eat only the "treats"- flowers, leaves ect. But if your chin is like my little Gus and they eat everything, then this is the perfect diet! And actually, the weird thing is, is that Gus actually prefers the pellets in the mix sometimes over the fruit and flowers- but then again, he might just want to make me think he's a good boy so I give him treats!!!! <3 Gus

I tried this after several other products let me down. My chinchilla absolutely loves this!! She will eat the pellets as well as the "treats"- dried fruit, pinecones, flowers, etc. She love crunching on the pine cones.

My chinchilla loves this feed! However, there are large bits of dried fruit and pinecones and leaves ect.
I pick out the dried berries ect. and give them as treats. Treats and food!

My chins love this food because it offers lots of variety and interesting textures. Everything is natural- no dyed, shaped UEO- unidentified edible objects. The dried carrots and flower blooms are particular favorites, but no one likes the little pine cones. I add extra pieces of papaya and raisins when they are extra well behaved!

My chins absolutely love this food. They are very picky when it comes to what they eat. They love picking out their favorite pieces but also eat the pellets too. They would ignore the pellets in other foods with "goodies" in them so I was surprised but ecstatic since I thought I would have to change foods again.
