I bought this bedding because it looked so much softer than those shredded wood shavings. I love it! So does my hamster, Baby Girl! It is so much softer and it does control the bad odor. I mix up the confetti stuff, the cotton stuff, and this new bedding to make an igloo for my hammy to sleep in. All of these things make the igloo stick together. Then Baby Girl justs tunnels in to sleep. Try it, your hammy will love you!!!

Could be better. I love the colors but it doesn't eliminate odor very well I have to change it more than others.

I got my hamster over a week ago and I haven't changed the bedding once and it doesn't smell! (with spot cleaning of coarse) It is a lot better then wood shavings! The only problem is it is expensive! But I would not reccomend anything but Carefresh!

I got my hamster Panda a week ago and I bought the All Living Things hamster deluxe starter kit, and it came with this bedding but in the natural color. I needed to clean his cage yesterday so I stopped at petsmart to get some cage cleaner and this bedding since I love blue and the bag that came with the kit was already half gone. I love this bedding, it's so much better then the shavings, it's soft and comfy for any small animal and the best thing is that since I've had him his cage never smells. I would assume that's because this bedding really is number 1 in odor eliminating. I highly recommend this to any small pet owner and another great thing.....you can choose from a bunch of colors!

Carefresh is the only brand of bedding I have found that doesn't stink after 2 or 3 days in the cage. It's a tad bit on the pricey side, but worth it.

I comes in really pretty colors too :)

i like this product because it is soft and good for my bunny to snuggle in. The problem is that the bedding always sticks and tangles in her fur and sometimes it is hard to comb it out.

i got this with the starter kit for my guinea pig and to be truthful this stuff makes a mess fast all he did was kick it out of his cage when he moved or played and when cleaning and checking on how his bedding was it was awful. his hay that fell from his hay ball and food was all mixed in with it within two days it was so messy and gross that i had to clean his cage.

This was great bedding. The colors made it more fun and the kids actually wanted to help clean the Guinnea Pig pens. I did have a slight problem. One of my Guinnea Pigs is an eater. She thought the bedding was food and ate it all the time like her pen was a buffet. She has different bedding now but my other pig loves it and doesn't eat it. So, if you buy this great product, watch your animals real close to make sure they arent eating it all...
