At 15 yrs, our Beagle started having trouble getting on the couch (his favorite spot, except where there was food). He had problems with the dog door and wouldn't even try to get on the bed anymore. We were seriously considering putting him down, until a friend -- who treated her German Shepherd for years -- recommended this supplement. After about 2 1/2-3 weeks, we had a spry senior hound. I couldn't believe the difference!
Now most Beagles do not have trouble eating anything/everything, but peanut butter was the quickest most direct route for us. For households with peanut allergies, I would suggest trying the cheese in a can that should be found in the toy aisle near the famous "Kong" toys at your local Petsmart. While the aforementioned Beagle loved "canned" cheese, we did not use it for taking pills.
This supplement allowed us to enjoy his (pain free) company for two more years before we gave him permanent rest. The vet said she had never seen a 17 yr old Beagle WALK into her clinic.

These supplements work wonders, I saw a huge improvement in less than a week!! My 9 year old Bull Mastiff has improved drastically, prior to these supplements he was getting up and down really slowly. Now he is up and down, up & down. He even has a new pep in his step on our walks.
** the only downfall is that they must taste horrible because he spit it out the first time now it is hidden in his morning treat.

My dog will not eat these. Says chewable but thats only good if your dog eats them. I got this because I saw all the great reveiws. I'm very dissapointed.

We have an 11 year old boxer and she was limping around all the time. I went to PetSmart and picked up some k-9 Maximum Senior Formula level 3 & Canine Aspirin. She doesn't limp at all anymore and LOVES getting her little "treat" after dinner. It really has made a world of difference for her. It would hurt her to jump off the deck in the back but she runs now. Very thankful that her last few years will be pain free.

Our 11 year old dog was unable to get up, sit down, climb stairs, etc. until we found this product while at PetSmart. It has made the entire world of a difference! She no longer collapses on our hardwood floors and she prances around the back yard. Our biggest wow moment was when she beat us up the stairs after being on the pills for about 3 weeks. We have our happy, healthy and pain free dog back. I'm sure this product has added years to her life and so much more enjoyment! Plus she loves getting her "treat"! Thank you for this amazing product, we recommend it to everyone!

My Havanese was starting to have problems going up & down the outside stairs and getting up & down from the bed despite the little staris. Within a couple of weeks the change was clear. I ran out after a couple of months, didn't get around to getting more---problems returned within two weeks. Got another bottle and within a week he was no longer nervous about doing the stairs anymore. It really does work for him.
Pros: works great, price, taste, easy to administer

My senior dog has been on this product for over a year now. She was having problems laying down and getting up. She also got to the point where she could hardly walk because of her pain and limping. The vet said it was due to old age and arthritis. A few months after I started her on this product, her symptoms improved. She now has no signs of pain anymore and is like a puppy again. I went from barely being able to take her out to the bathroom, to now we go on a mile jog almost every day. She even got up to 2 miles for awhile, but with her age I decreased it back to 1. This product has saved her life and her livelihood!
Pros: a long term solution to joint pain in dogs, no drugs necessary!
Cons: takes a few months to start seeing results

Effectiveness
This is not a miracle formula, but it does seem to help my older dog with his joint problems. It's better than nothing.
