I've enjoyed this product as well as my dog, he can easily see to retrieve it. However, I would love to see one much smaller in diameter but same length for a Medium size dog, my dog has a jaw problem limiting how far he can open his mouth.

I did want to add a comment to go along with another review I saw. These toys/training devices were not made to be chewed, so a poor rating because it couldn't stand up to a dog chewing isn't really fair. The product was meant to be played/trained with under supervision, there are other products made for the purpose of being chewed. This kind of toy/training device is one that should only be out when being used for it's purpose...Fetch in the water, etc.. If your dog has time to Chew it up you weren't using the product for it's intended supervised purpose.

Again I love this product and so does my dog.

Pros: Keeps Pet Entertained, easy to wash

Initially I liked this toy because it was easy to throw and my dog could see it in the water without any problems. However, the toy was broken within a few hours of my purchase. I have an eight month old Labrador retriever who loved the toy but he chewed the top part where the rope connects off in less than a minute. Now the rope won't stay on and the toy fills with water. The construction was pretty cheap and cannot stand up to mild chewing.

I generally like this brand and I wish this toy were more durable but I was disappointed this time. I would not recommend this if your dog is going to chew on this toy for even a brief amount of time.
