I have a 12 yr old Dalmatian that has terrible arthritis. I went to an agility event and a vet there recommended this and it it truely amazing. She was on pain meds and rimadyl and i have taken her off both of these meds and left her on the cosquin and she is doing just as good. This is a GREAT PRODUCT!!!! I have since put all of my other adult dogs on this product as a preventive. I have Dalmatians and Labs and have notioce a difference in my Labs as well. Very happy with this product!!!! Highly Recommended!!!!

My old Aussie Cattle Dog stopped trotting all the time this past year. One day I watched fall up the front steps. A couple of days later, he fell down the steps. I got him the Cosequin DS with MSM, and within two or three days, he trotted up the steps - something I hadn't seen him do for months - and he's been doing very well ever since. When we run out of the Cosequin, he deteriorates again. I was so impressed with the results for my dog, I wrote the company and jokingly asked if they had anything for humans. And they do! I started taking their human formulation, and my knees, which have been extremely painful for years, improved 85% within just a few days. I no longer have to suffer daily pain from my bad knees. For those who saw no results, perhaps their pet's problem is something other than joint issues, or they have to give the maximum dosage. We have to give me and my dog the maximum dosage. But it really does work, and the dog formula must taste great, because he eats it like its candy.

Cosequin was recommended by my vet. People aren't lieing when they say it works. I have a 10 year old Border Collie/Blue Heeler Mix who hurt his hip as a pup. The older he gets, the stiffer his hip gets. I started another product over two years ago and was amazed. Needed to switch products due to price. I can honestly say he's like a pup again. I have been using Cosequin for about three months and it's "GREAT" to have my active dog back. I use it on my two big dogs. When I start noticing problems with my smaller dogs 4 1/2 yrs old, I will definitely be using it on them.
Pros: price, easy to administer, works great, taste

I purchased the first bottle on 4/28/12 for my Rottweiler. I followed the instructions but did not see any results by the end of the first bottle. I bought a second bottle and by the time I'd used it all, there were still no results. His gait was not improved so I didn't buy any more. After all the "miracle" reviews, it makes me wonder if people are lying or just imagining positive results.

There is a product out there that has at least 3 times the amount of glucosamine and chondrition than this plus other ingredients to help with both joint and cartilage. It also has probiotic to help with digestion and absorption. The other exciting part is the cost for about a 1/3 of the cost it can help your dogs for at least 5-6 months. I have herding dogs and they are on it and what a difference.

I started giving this to my 10-yr old dog on 8/1/2011. After 4 wks, she is like a brand new dog. She walks and runs with no more pain. She is happier and plays again just like she used to. I cannot say enough good things about this product. I don't know how long it will last, but I'm thrilled with the results to this point. Get this for your dog as fast as you can if your dog has had any joint/hip issues. It's rather expensive but it's well worth it. My dog thinks they are snacks since they are chewable tablets.

This is the best stuff on the market! Our very energetic dog has the tendency to jump from high places, and as a result would displaced her "elbows". Our vet suggested Cosequin DS, and within a couple of weeks-no more problems-and it's been 5 years. We give her a half a tablet every am, just for maintenance.

I bought the Cosequin "Bonelets" for dogs because I used to buy it for my horses and it worked for them. It has worked well for my dog, too. She is 12 and has mild arthritis, trouble getting up, sometimes a little limp here and there. Since we have started the Cosequin "bonelets" those symptoms have nearly vanished. She also loves the taste of them and gobbles them down eagerly. My veterinarian said that the Cosequin brand is the real medical grade product and that the basic formulation is no different than what is used for human consumption. I definitely trust this brand now, because this stuff works!
Pros: it works well
Cons: it's expensive
