Originally tried this food on advice from the groomer for skin allergies, and was amazed at the change in my 10 yr old Wheaton terrior. First of all we had to monitor how much we gave him, as he loved it so much he would just eat and eat. On the 2nd and 3rd day noticed so much more energy, and increased digestion. I never realized the other food we were feeding him was so bad, as it was well known vet recommended and name brand. I am now giving samples to all my friends for their dogs to try, and so far they are all sold.

I have a Golden Retriever named Lady. She is about 8 now. She suffers from Arthritis, and we needed to get a dog food that was good for her age. We bought Bil-Jac and it has done wonders! She can eat it very well.The food looks like small pebbles, kinda like rabbit food, so its easier for a senior dog to chew. Since she loves the taste and I love the benefits, this food is a keeper! I highly recommend this to dogs that have arthritis.

Our almost 12 year old lab was digging up the yard and sneaking human food so we went to Petsmart and talked to a awesome employee who recommended the Bil-Jac food. She loves it! She has stopped digging and eating dirt and has less tummy troubles. So glad we switched dog foods. (Our 2 year old lab eats the large breed bil-jac food)

Not only is my senior dog picky when it comes to food, but she was having so much trouble crunching other hard dog foods due to dental issues. Crunchy foods are supposed to help a dog's teeth stay strong and clean, but the poor thing would sit there and roll each piece under her tongue to soften it before finally being able to bite it. She's a rescue so I don't know the history but maybe they never fed her hard foods because her teeth are in terrible condition. She also got gas after eating other foods, and she had difficulty with stools.
Bil-Jac, on the other paw, is great. Small, easy to crunch, easily-digestible morsels that she just eats up. Her head doesn't come out of the bowl until she's eaten every last bit and licked the bowl clean. She seems to have a lot more energy during the day now and does her business twice a day like clockwork, no difficulty.
Cons: Gives the dog bad breath. But who cares when she's so incredibly delighted to eat the food every single time without hesitation?
Happy dog, happy owner!

I give this to both of my dog's, 16 and 7, and it is the best dog food for them. When my vet asked what I gave my 16 year old cocker spaniel to eat, and I told her Bil Jac, she said that my dog eats better than she does. It does have some preservatives, but if you read the ingredients the first 5 or 6 of them are some of the best foods humans can eat for health and longevity. Love BilJac and will never change to another brand.

I have 2 doggie babies and 1 kitty baby. One of my doggie babies was not excepting any of the many varieties of food I had tried. When I shopped at th petsmart near my home the sales person for biljac was so very nice and offered 5$ off my first bag. Upon placing it in front of the picky one she ate 2 cups and wanted more. My other baby eats it as well I buy the senior chicken and oatmeal and even the kitty eats it sometimes as a treat.

Biljac has its critics because of some of its ingredients,but this stuff works.Its unique and exclusive process creates a dog food that breaks down quickly in your dog`s tummy and avoids bloat or poor digestion.And dogs love the fresh taste!I have never seen a dog that wouldnt eat biljac.And it does wonders for a dog`s coat and stools.There is a reason why breeders use biljac.Just make sure to compare the analysis of each formula,because there is a difference in protein and fat content.I give my dog the senior formula because hes over 11 years old and because it contains oatmeal which provides more sustained carb supply vs straight corn alone and is easier on the stomach.
Pros: fresh meat content and fresh processing, high digestibility and fast dissolving kibbles
Cons: contains preservatives, contains ground corn, contains chicken by-products(organs)

All of our dogs love this food. Although I trust Bil-Jac, I was surprised that our puppy would not eat Bil-Jac Puppy Food. He's two years old now, and eats the Senior food along with our adult and senior dogs. They also prefer Senior to the Select Adult food.
The small kibble size is great for our small and large dogs. the 10lb dog eats 1/2 cup per day, the 50lb dog eats 3 cups per day.
All of the dogs, even one with chronic colitis, have small, firm stools.

This is the only dog food that my dog will eat immediately. He used to pick at his food for the entire day. Not anymore. We tried the food comparison challenge by Bil Jac. We were skeptical at first, but after a few days, our dog was excited at feeding time. We are believers of this product and will continue to purchase this food for our furry baby.

On my lunch beak i walked over to the local petsmart when a rep for bil jac recommended i buy this product. He was very nice and thru in a five dollar off coupon. When I gave my two senior dogs and one puppy this food they went crazy. they love this food so much i don't mind paying the extra price. It is nice and soft for my 13 yr old that i dont have to worry about him losing what teeth he has. this food is awesome!
