"Having two Newfoundland puppies, the water bowls were more of a play toy to paddle water out of and throw around the backyard, we were force to find something that would keep fresh clean water available 24/7. We tried other "water cooler" bowls, and an attachment that goes right on the faucet (which gets very hot from the sun and could burn tongues) Then I came across this Motion Activated Pet Fountain, we were relucant to buy such an expense item for the puppies, but figured with Petsmart excellent return policy what did we have to lose? It's working out perfectly! It's made of plastic and no the dogs don't chew on it and it won't burn their tongue's in the middle of the hottest day! Now, I never worry the pups are without clean water while away from the house and it hasn't effected our water bill at all. The pups took right to it as soon as they walked up to it, it began pouring water out and that was it! We've had it for 8 months and will AWAYS have one."

"Product works well, but I could never train my dogs to use it as described. So I had to put a pail underneath to catch the water, but it kept my dogs hydrated in the summer."

"I have a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd who absolutely, positively loves his fountain. I bought it because anytime I'd be out watering flowers or washing the car, he thought he should be watered too. I love him to death and all but it would sure take me alot long to finish my projects. It's great!!!! When we are outside playing now he can just go over to it and there is always fresh cold water ready for him whenever he needs a drink. He is also very particular about dirty things. So, if his frisbee gets dirt on it he goes and washes it off by himself at the foutain. He is one smart cookie! It's well worth the cost for the convenience for both myself and Cooper. It is also easy to set up. User friendly for owner and dog."

"Our dogs were chewing up thier water bottles and bowls and were having a problem keeping them fresh cool water. We shopped and shopped for some type of product that would fulfill our dogs needs. A represenitive at PetSmart suggested this and were in all honesty hesitant to spend this much money, but had already paid more in replacing water bowls and jugs than the cost of this product. Money well spent, the dogs love it, I don't have to worry that they have water and is always as clean and cool as what we drink."
