Great addition to harness system....,

"I purchased a harness seatbelt system to keep my beagle, Tyson, safe and secure when we are in the car. He LOVES to travel with us, and needs the ability to move around, come up and stand on the arm rest, etc. The harness system we purchased did not have a long enough strap for him to come up and see us. This product allowed us to SECURELY provide him with an extension. The swivel prevents it from getting tangled. It is well constructed and heavy duty. It can either connect to a bar which is installed in some newer car back seats, or can attach to the rear seatbelt system. But above all, it gives us the peace of mind that should we get into an accident, our beagle will have the same safety restraints that we do keeping him safe. I would highly recomend this item."

Still Safe and Secure...,

Pros: easy to install and remove from the harness, works great on dogs large and small Cons: i wish i could shorten it an additional inch, metal clasp gets quite hot if left in sunlight
"I purchased this product three years ago after I was involved in a car accident while traveling with my Golden Retriever (thankfully, uninjured). I take her everywhere with me and she insists on sitting up front. This product gives me the ability to shorten the length when she rides up front as well as lenthening the strap if moved to the back seat. I can easily install the tether to both my vehicle and to my dog's harness (one handed if needed). Lightweight, the harness buckle rests flat against my dog, allowing her to sit comfortably and move about without twisting her harness. Even the additional cargo tie-down has proven quite valuable. We have been MORE THAN SATISFIED with this product. Recently, we added a second Golden Retriever to our family. Even at 3-months, the tether allows her to comfortably and safely ride in the vehicle. We are planning on purchasing another PetBuckle Kwik-Connect Tether this week."

Pros: inexpensive, safe for the pet, strong construction, extremely easy to use Cons: leash too short (just 18" long)
"We bought this product two months ago and it has proved to be durable and strong enough to keep my 90 Lbs. Boxer in place. She's very hyperactive and this buckle keeps her calmly in the back of our SUV. I definitively recommend this product."

Great extension,

"This works really well with the harness. It allows the dog a little extra room to move while keeping him safely restrained. It has a hook that attaches to the LATCH bar for dogs upto 60 pounds. Should the dog exceed that weight, the hook is easily removed and replaced with another attachment (included) that attaches the harness to the seat belt. Works great!!"
