the best out of all other pet steps,

"I bought the dickens step with the carpeting in the middle first, but it was so small in width and height that my 6lb maltese could not reach my bed still. the steps were so narrow that he could not go up step by step but kinda of had to jump up quickly, which negates the reason why i wanted him to use the steps (so that he doesn't get arthritis or other problems later on from jumping up and down too much) however, these steps were absolutely great. they are very sturdy, great color, the wood even smells better. it is very easy to assemble, took me about 10 minutes. the height is taller so my dog can reach the bed without having to jump the last step. the width of each step is also larger so he can slowly go up the steps. he even lays on the middle step sometimes. out of all the other dog steps i've seen in person at the store and the dickens, pupup, this one was over and beyond. four paws up!!"

Easiest online transaction & assembly,

"Although the item is made in China I find NO fault in it, whatsoever. Simple to follow instructions. Sturdy construction and steadfastness for the animal(s) with a bunch of energy. A little pricey but the alternative is unacceptable should by some fault of mine, my little girl hurt herself jumping off or onto the bed albeit chasing her cat or simply following me. Vet bills, forget her pain & suffering, couldn't compare to the few extra dollars of this item to comparable steps. Also the felt/rubberized feet prevent slippage or damage to my new floors. It easily supports my 145 pounds. Hope this helps you decide."

Pets love 'em,

"My friend bought these steps for her dog and I saw how much her dogs loved them for getting on the couch. When we got a new puppy, we made some out of wood for ours so they could get up on the bed. They really love them. The only down falls is that the finish does not stay looking nice especially for puppies who chew! I also highly recommend measuring where you want them to get on because this may not be high enough for the bed."
