Not worth it

This was a disaster! The instructions say to clean the area with alcohol to prepare for the sticky pads. Well I did that and it did not stick at all. It kept falling the entire trip. Also, it is not such a great fit for an SUV. It is a very flimsy design! I am going to consider the metal one.

Save your money and get a metal one

I have a metal barrier that works great, but the metal poles made it hard to clean the plastic carpet protector I have in the back of the car and the poles also blocked the compartment for my jack and tire iron. I bought this to try and solve that problem and was extremely disappointed. It was installed per instructions, we let the car sit in the garage a couple of days out of the sun, and the glue on the velcro had fallen down on the sides with absolutely no use or stress. Totally useless. Additionally, it's far too expensive for what it is. Save your money and get a metal one. Additionally, the metal ones work as a protector in the case of accidents. Much safer for your pets.

We have a Ford Expedition and all my dog needs is a deterrant from coming in the front or middle seats. Our dog does not try to get past the barrier at all. I followed the instructions, and it fits the vehicle well. I bought this one over the others because you can take it down easily (six sets of velcro-type 3M detachable strips secure it to the walls of the vehicle). This was important for us since our third row will also be used with passengers, not just the dog.

The barrier went in well, but when I started to take it down, the strings holding it to the stick on tabs on the car, came out. So now I can't use it anymore because there is no way to fasten it to the car. I would recommend seeing an in-store demo of it before buying it.

We just bought a new SUV and wanted something to deter our German Shepherd and American Eskimo from moving up towards the front, but not damage our vehicle. We previously had a wire barrier which with occasional removal for space left our previous SUV with scratches and permanent indents/tears in the ceiling material. This works great for us, but if your pet is very hyper and likely do all they can to get to you it may not be a good option. We've had it up for about two months now with no problems. Ensure you follow all directions strictly to get best out of this product.

My dogs love to jump in the front seat. It's annoying and dangerous for drivers. I have a car and had a hard time finding a barrier that would fit. This one says it fits all vehicles. It leaves a gap between the front seats. Also the velcro pieces that hold it to the sides of the car didn't stick well. I am once again looking for a barrier.
