This is a good bird feeding method, but it is $6 a cake and the birds typically go through it within a day or two, so it isnt the most economically effective way to feed birds. It is high quality and all, but it makes a mess and needs to be replaced, the money could be spent differently on birdfeeders that would last longer.

I've only had this suet out for about 24 hours, and there is a variety of birds eating off of the block that I have never seen in my back yard! They love it, they won't leave it alone. Neither will the squirrels but thats why I have a dog. The birds love it so much they don't fly off with my dog out chasing squirrels, and thats never happened.

When I used this I got to see a variety of birds come and eat. It was a thrill and it's easy to use with the bird feeder.
