I would say it is a good mat, but it way to expensive for it. It picks up a lot of litter, but when my cats walk off of it the litter between there paws falls out. I would love it if it was longer mat.

This litter mat is very big so it catches a lot of litter. All I have to do to clean it is use a vacuum hose to get the litter off the mat. I don't even have to pick it up and move everything. My cat doesn't mind the texture of it either and neither do we when we step on it. Another great thing about this litter mat is my cat can't destroy it!

Is there a litter mat out there that really works? I doubt it. Yes, this does collect some of the litter when my cat steps out of the box, but then, so would the floor! Unfortunately, there is a LARGE trail from the box to wherever my kitty goes after she leaves the box as well. A paper bag, a towel, a doormat, anything you can think of, would work as well as this mat and would be less expensive, so I would have to say that your money would be better spent on something ese.

I clean my 3 litter boxes daily (I have 6 cats), but because the litter gets stuck to this Stylette Litter Catcher Mat, my cats think they can do their duty there. I never had a problem before, they were always good... worst product I ever bought (my whole house smelled like cat spray until I figured out it was the mat!)

Cute but not worth the money. Product collects cat litter like it is designed to, but eventually you have to shake the mat out. Everytime you do, the mat tears around the border. The mat needs to be made out of better material and it would be nice if it came in other colors.

I have the larger sized mat listed here. I've had it for a few years and it is still working great! The cats even like laying on it. The mat is very easy to clean: just flick it outside to get the dust and litter out of the weave. That's it. If your cat has an accident near it (i.e. hairballs) or something else gets spilled on it, just use your hose (or shower head) and let it dry. If you need to scrub it for some reason (on the catch side), just use a bristle type brush to get into the mesh. I haven't had to do that but it should work.

Pros: good at catching the litter., durable material.

Usually I research products before I actually go and buy them in the store, especially since I have TWO kittens & I've never had kittens before. This product I bought on a whim, see I've been having a hard time with the kittens tracking litter from the litter box onto my bathroom rugs (which are white! so it's very noticeable) and I hate it when my bathroom looks untidy. This mat does its job. It picks up the extra litter, I don't have to sweep up the litter on the floor anymore (which I did everyday as well as clean their litter box) or try to get it out of my bathroom rugs.

Pros: very efficient, reasonably & affordably priced, kittens barely noticed it! (except 1 time)

Cons: not very pretty, caught the kitten scratching at it (1 time)

This is a great mat for trapping litter. My cat was a bit skeptical about it at first, but got over that quickly. The litter is a bit hard to shake out, but that way you know it’s doing it’s job. I did end up getting rid of it and will not be purchasing a new one. About a month after using it, she felt it was an extension of her litter box and decided to use it more than the box, especially for the #1 jobs. Beware, your cat may think this too.

Pros: traps litter

Cons: cat used it as a litter box

I put this mat down the first day I received it and my cat urinated on it instead of in the box. I washed it and put it down again and he and another cat continued to urinate on it. No matter how many times I cleaned it or what solution I used to eliminate the previous urine smell, they continued to urinate on it instead of in the box. I purchased a new one and the same thing happened. I took the mats up and they resumed using the boxes.

Apparently the smell and texture of these mats attracts cats to do this. In any case, I cannot use these. FYI.

Pros: soft texture attractive design.

Cons: cats urinate on them

I have two kitties and they love to tread litter all over the place.This mat has drastically reduced the about of litter that is spread around. Very easy to clean (just shake) We've had it for about 2 months and it still looks brand new. One of my kitties was a little scared/unsure of it at first but after about a day she warmed up to it.

Pros: easy to clean, works great!, durable

I have the half circle ones and would never go back to no mats in front of the box! It drastically reduced the amount of litter tracks around the house. I used to frequently find a few pieces of litter on a lot of our furniture which kind of grossed me out but also made me feel bad for my babies that were running around with kitty litter all over them. It's like people walking around town with toilet paper stuck to their shoes or coming out of their pants!

Now the only little tracks I see are trapped in the mat and the surrounding areas. So, it doesn't eliminate the litter in the area entirely but it helps out a lot in cleaning. The mats seem like their a decent material as I've had mine for almost a year now. Like I said before, it also traps a lot of the litter which can make it difficult to shake out sometimes with out aggressively hitting the back of the mat! Otherwise.. thumbs up.

Pros: reduces litter found around the house, durable material

Cons: sometimes litter is hard to shake out, does not completely eliminate litter tracks

What a great product. I bought two - one for under the pan & one for entry way where the cats go in and out. They are terrific. As a matter of fact, I'm now going to order two more because I discovered they are machine washable. I've washed them twice already on the gentle cycle - warm water & they came out fine. They took a few days to air dry, but they are clean. That is why I'm buying two more, so I never go a day without the mats.

The mats have worked out fairly well, the cats don't mind stepping on them. The larger mats come folded, and the material on the back of the mat tends to split along the crease. The mats catch alot of the tracked litter, although not all.

I put the small mat in front of the porch litter box and a large mat in the basement to handle two litter boxes. They have cut down on the tracking of litter more than I expected and neither of my cats seemed to notice the addition of the mats.

The color in the picture is inaccurate. I was expecting a nice dark gray, and instead it is more like a dark sea green.

In terms of functionality, this mat works very well. The amount of litter tracked across the floor by my cats has been greatly reduced. It's soft enough that they don't mind walking on it.

I purchased the large mat and it fits well in front of two litter boxes side by side.

This mat is great for both us and the cats. It reduces the amount of litter tracked outside the litter box a lot, although does not catch everything. It is soft so the cats do no try to avoid it like they have with other mats. The large mat is big enough for us to fit two litter boxes on side by side and we put the half circle in front. It is appealing to the eye and makes cleaning up a cinch!

This is the first litter mat we've had that really works. The cats hated the feel of the stiff astro-turf type mat and would jump over it. This one is soft, but catches all the litter in the loops of plastic. It's easy to clean as well. We have it on linoleum in our laundry room, and we simply vacuum over it with our canister vacuum. It lays flat and the edges don't curl up. The mat is plenty large enough to force the cat to walk across it, with plenty of room for the litter box to sit on it as well. Litter tracking is reduced by at least 80% now. Kudos to the mfgr!

I've been using the larger, rectangle Litter Catcher Mat as the door mat to our home. It's stood up to the demands of a door mat very well and the cute little paw prints in the corner add just the right touch of whimsey - especially since the cats out number the people in our home! >^!!^<
