"I always used to buy the regular carefresh bedding but when I went to Petsmart for my regular visit I noticed this was on sale. I didn't want to get hooked on this because it is a little more expensive than the other carefresh, but if I must say this stuff is much, much better! It absorbs a lot better than the other stuff, my rabbit is healthier, it is softer!"

"I read the reviews about this product and decided to give it a go. I have had my rats for a couple of days now and they sometimes sneeze. I did my research and sometimes it could be because of the bedding they have. This product does keep the smell to a minimum and it is very absorbant, but my rats seem to like how soft it is to sleep on. It does seem a little on the dusty side, which could be the cause to their sneezing. But I'm not gonna totally ban this product for others, it may work well for other peoples pets. Just not mine."

"I absolutely love this bedding! It's super absorbent, and easy to clean. It's the only brand I use :) The white bedding makes it very easy to do spot cleans, since I can see the droppings better. It also puffs out a bit after being loosened up so I use less of it :) When first putting it in, it smells a bit odd but nothing noticeable, and after being cleaned out it leaves a bit of dust. Other then that, it's amazing!"

"I got this along with Kaytee timothy hay for my gerbils Tiger and Starry and they loved it!I found mixing it with the timothy hay allows the gerbils to build sturdier burrows.There's no need for any hideaway when the mixed bedding allows the gerbils to build their own.It was a little dusty at first,but otherwise great!"

"I absolutly adore this product and so do my little hamhams. When I first adopted Nochi and Tiki (My two little Roborovski Dwarfs.) I bought this massive bag of aspen bedding. Well they dug in it fine and it did it's job, not to appealing or anything. So, a few months in, I wanted to get them a bigger cage, and said cage came with a try it pack of carefresh. So, not wanting to waste it, I put it in their cage and they were going mental over the stuff!!
Nuzzling and jumping and snuggling and digging and every other thing imaginable. They adore carefresh, and I can only imagine that its ten times softer on their little paws than the shavings ever were. But that was the original carefresh.
I just bought the ultra white yesterday, for a multitude of reasons. I can monitor their urine and feces to make sure their not sick, I can tell when it's getting dirty faster so they dont sit in a dirty cage, its super soft and obsorbant and they love playing in it!
I did see a little dust when I put it in the cage, and I got a little sneezy, but that was it. As soon as I finished putting the bedding in, no more sneezies! And neither of my hammies seem to be affected by it.
So overall, buy this product!!!!!! It will last a long time if you buy in bulk and honestly, even with my small budget (I babysit) I can afford the 21 bucks. lol"

"I love this bedding, it is soft and easy to clean up and to put into a cage or litter pan. The Carefresh brown bedding is ok, but it can get in your eyes when you pour it out. The white bedding doesn't do that as much, sometimes it will a little but it's still great. I recomend this product for rats, large hamsters, and guinea pigs. My four rats love this bedding! I have experimented with many different types of bedding such as chips, newspaper, and other bedding, but this bedding has proven time and time again to be the best."

Best Litter Out There,

"I love this litter. I have used a few different brands, and types and will only use this one from now on..
Two main reasons...
1. The litter absorbs a lot more bunny urine than others, and also keeps the smell at a minimum. I can change this litter less often compared to aspen shavings, and clean up is easier. It seems to stick less to the pan, and isn't nearly as gross as the shavings.
2. The white litters allows you to monitor your rabbits (or pets) health.. It's important to know what is normal for your pet, and the white gives contrast that other types of litter don't.. When my rabbit had a bladder infection I had been using the aspen, and switched over right away to the white stuff so I could make sure nothing looks 'strange' and report to the vet with more confidence.
Also, usually, the best bet is to buy the largest bag of it, even when the small ones are on sale. Per cubic liter, the large bag is less expensive than the smaller ones."

"Amazing product. My 2 gerbils like it and I like it. They even eat it sometimes. When I first cleaned iout the cages I put the bedding in a plastic bag to go out with the trash. I stuck my head in it and smelled it. I couldnt smell anything. It was amazing. But....I'm switching to Kaytee soft-sorbent. This is way too expensive."

"I usually buy the gray-colored reclaimed materials pet bedding for my guinea pig. I thought I'd try the white one just for the heck of it. It makes it really easy to see where my piggie went potty so I can clean it up well, but it doesn't seem to do much for odor control. There's more of a urine/pet smell which I'm not sure whether it's the bedding itself or my pet's urine or both, ANYWAYS I highly recommend getting the gray carefresh bedding, it's cheaper too."

"After a year of constantly buying wood shaving for my bunny, I was getting sick of the mess that it caused. In turn I started buying Carefresh bedding. It was much softer then the bedding that my bunny previously had. Also, it clumps together nicely so it isn't too messy. Cleaning her cage is easier now and less of a hassle and nicer than before.
I would suggest putting a layer of cat litter at the bottom of your bunny's cage and using this as a top layer. It helps with drainage and also saves money.

"My two hamsters love this bedding and they know what to do with it when I give it to them... They take it to the igloo or into the "Cuddle Corner" of the cage and they burrow into it for hours of comfy sleep. They love burrowing in this too, and if your hamster likes it enough, you can give it to them as a treat!"

"when i first purchased this product (10 litter), it was just little dust, the smell was perfect. my two robo drawf hamster feel comfortable to sleeping and playing on. But after i purchased the 50 litter one, it was totally different than the 10 litter one, it was strange smell, really smelly, and it wasn't as soft as the 10 litter one, one of my hamster was busy all day to make it softer with her teeth. I am really disappointed with this product."
