I love the Hikari Goldfish food! A bit more on the costly side, but worth it. Unfortunately my local store does not carry any of the Hikari Goldfish foods, so I had to get mine at a different place.
Still, if your local petsmart carries it - give it a try!
High quality food, specialized on the needs of certain goldfish breeds. You sure can feed each food to all goldfish, but for example the Lionhead food does a great job getting your fish's wen to grow.
I use the Saki Hikari Color Enhancing (purple) bag and the colors of my fish have improved very much.
Still, if your local petsmart carries it - give it a try!

I only use Hikari Lionhead, and feed it to all my goldfish. I like it because it's high quality food that has all the basic nutrients your goldfish needs. The best thing about the Lionhead food variety is that it is sinking. Which is really important, so your goldfish doesn't get bloated with too much air when it's eating, compared to the floating kind. It's more pricey but worth it. Your fish will look great and you will definelty see the difference.
Cons: wish all their varieties were sinking.

I bought the baby fish pellets (pink bag) for my Comet Goldfish. This was the first pellet I could find small enough for my fish to eat.

I used unhealthy top fin(tf) and they hated it and it clouded the water, and it soaked and sunk and now even my 99 galon filter cant clean this even though i even have 30 galon tank!!! And then i tryed Hikari and they loved it, enhanced their color, and the bag looks better, not life tf's plain black one. You can see the colorful hikari bag!!!
HIkARI AND OMEGA RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
