My Miniature Schnauzer loves this collar. Nothing will stop him from slipping his collar, we have tried nylon, leather and a choke chain and he has slipped all of them. Even though he has slipped this one multiple times we both love it. It is a great product for any type of dog.

I have a 7 year old Golden Retriever/Tibetan Mastiff mix who is very well behaved on a leash, but we keep a choke collar on him just in case, since he is extremely powerful. If he sees something he wants to go after, no collar or leash will hold him being as he weighs 117 pounds and is all muscle. He's broken at least 3 Top Paw choke collars. The only collar he didn't break was a specially made one we got from a trainer when he was 2 years old, but that one has since rusted. Also, we have a hard time finding a choke to fit his neck, he usually fits in a 28" choke collar, but they are hard to find.

I love using this type of choker because it does not hurt my dog too much, but it gives the right amount of pressure to discipline them. My favorite part is that it is long lasting and isn't easy to take off. Sometimes i will se my dogs trying to get them off but it is a lost effort. I would recommend it for any loving dog owner.

Pros: very sturdy, good looking, not easily taken off by pets, just gentle enough to be disciplinary

Cons: rusts after about a year or two but thats expecte

i've used this brand of choke chain since i got my yellow labrador, they have a nice fit, and nice appearance, but they do tend to rust. but a good product.

This Collar is okay. It is pretty sturdy but does not last under strain. My A.P.B.T has a bad habit of straightening out the ring that attaches to the lead. I used to have to use two collars to walk him because for some reason he thinks pressure on his throat means pull harder. Anyway if you have a normal dog this collar is for you, if you have hard headed pit bulls or other stubborn large breed dogs I recommend a No-Pull Harness or Head collar(Haltie).

This is the best quality chain collar I have ever bought. I am an expert. I have purchased 4 to date for my 3 yr old 100 lb Golden retriever/ Lab mix. He has broken all - this one will last, however it does not fit around his girthy neck comfortably. It is too tight. I could add links but that would defeat the purpose. I also bought the pinch collar that is working for his training so that some day we may be able to just go to Nylon. Bottom line, if you need a great collar at a great price, order this one for sure. If you have a heavy stubborn dog like mine, go straight for the pinch so that you one day can just have a pretty nylon one.

Pros: great quality, sturdy

Cons: large not large enough

These chrome choke chains are the best. I have used one in treaining all of my dogs. they each have their own becuase fit is extreamly important when you are dealing with a training collar. also they are veryt styeish not just your average training collar. they are not hard to use just slip them on and off you go. the pressure that they put on the dog when they pull is very effective in making them not want to pull. this is great and i would not use anything else.

This is a great product! I have two dogs(both Doberman) and they have both used them for training. Also, when we take them for walks it keeps them from pulling too hard.

I really like this item. These choke chains are some of my favorite for training a dog on a leash, and for dogs that have a habit of pulling on the leash constantly and need to wear these whenever taken on a walk. They are durable, and even for a dog, like mine, that might have a tendency to pull hard enough to break the collar, these have always held up.
