Stinky!

The good: Low dust. The mediocre: Clumping ability - clumps break apart fairly easily but form consistently. The bad: Next to no odor control. I have 3 cats and despite daily scooping of multiple litter boxes, I can smell every use now that a few days have gone by. Also, while it clumps consistently, the large granule size combined with the fragility of the clumps make it hard to sift.
Pros: low dust
Cons: Doesn't Eliminate Odor, Hard to Sift

I have 2 kittens and thought I should try this product. I found that when trying to shake the access off the litter scoop it all broke down & fell apart. I have pine all over my house and around the litter box. It never did have a bad odor which is nice. I had actually bought 2 boxes on my initial purchase & returned one this last weekend and chose another brand. I am sorry but I would not recommend this product.

I tied Feline Pine because I read online that it was the best for Bunny cages which tend to smell constantly. Our Bunny is indoors and I don't tollerate odors, so I thought I'd give this a try as it is safe for Bunnys. I'm so glad I did! What a difference. It lasts so long and I never have odor from the cage. I'm sure it makes Bunny happy as well. I've been using Feline Pine for 2 years now and he's happy and healthy. Be sure not to use too much as it will swell up from urine. Use much less than you think you need. I only use about 3 cups for my bunny cage.

This is a great litter. It smells wonderful and lasts a decent amount of time. I have 2 cats. It's dust free which has helped my cats immensely (they were sneezing constantly throughout the day before). The cat urine smells like nothing. The pellets turn into just a fine saw dust and once it dries it still smells like pine. Scoop the solids and within minutes the smell is gone. The only con about this stuff is your normal litter scoop will have slots that are too small for the pellets to fall through so scooping the solids without wasting pellets can be a little tricky. Otherwise it's a fantastic product and I highly recommend it to anyone

This is the best litter I've ever used. Always used a clumping clay litter in the past. For over 15 years! I won't ever go back to that again. This litter is so different! It smells so good, and it keeps the odor down, and even takes the ammonia smell away! You don't need to use a lot, so it lasts longer than conventional litter! I wish I would have found this litter years ago! Try it, you won't regret it!

I bought Feline Pine in hopes of using a natural product. I placed the product in the cats litter boxes and with in no time my eyes started to water. The strong pine scent made me feel like I was in the lumber department at Lowe's! Also, I could not get my cats to even get in the box! They would smell it, step one paw in and then run away! Switched to World's best and I love it so far. No smell, clumps very well and is easy to scoop and is all natural.

I just got too kittens and I heard that this liter would be good......... I hate it; it doesn't really control the odor. When my cats go it smells God awful and me and my family stay clear of the room of the liter box even though its in a closet. And it tracks like crazy there is liter every where id have to sweep up the place everyday. And its suppose to clump granted it does but it breaks apart when I try scooping it. I just changed to Fresh Step and its great.

I tried Feline Pine because I had been using the other natural litters (corn) and although they are supposed to be dust-free, they are not. Plus they are very expensive. So I went back to the traditional litters, which were even dustier (which was a reason I stopped using them initially) but much cheaper. My cats would be covered with dust when they left the box. I was so unhappy with all of this litter. In frustration, I tried Feline Pine. It is unbelievable! I use so much less, it is costing me SO much less money. I have 5 cats, 2 boxes, and I have to do a full change of the litter ONLY once per month. There is no tracking of the litter around the box; there is no dust; the cats aren't covered with dust; there is NO smell of urine; there is no smell of feces (unless your cat doesn't cover up, then it takes a little longer for the Feline Pine to absorb that smell). I am sold! I even convinced my brother to try it and he is now using it exclusively for his 3 cats! Make sure you follow the directions on the bag. Don't put in too much, because the Feline Pine absorbs the urine and the box will get too full. Give it a try--you willkick yourself for not trying this sooner! And- it is better for your cats and better for the environment.

The vet recommended this litter after my kitty's spay surgery because it has no dust. Fortunately, kitty used it. I ended up switching back to clumping clay litter because there was a lot of odor coming from the cat box. It was especially noticeable in a tiny apartment. Still, I recommend this product to cats that have had spay/neuter surgery, or urinary tract problems. It's also good for cat "owners" with severe allergies and respiratory problems. Weigh the pros and cons of each litter and decide which one is best for you and your cat.

Dreaming.....BOO!
I have used Feline Pine for over 15 years and three cats because it works! It takes care of the smell of urine better than any other litter. I HAVE tried other litters; but, I always return to Feline Pine because all the others continue to pale in comparison. I just do not like smelling cat urine in my house!
So you ask why do you even TRY other litters? The answer is simple: I try to save my pennies and most other litters have coupons available. Feline Pine marketing and customer service departments, please consider adding a coupon inside each bag! And thanks for such a great product Feline Pine!

my MEEKSIE!
Both of my cats were using the Tidy Cats clumping litter, however after having moved back in with my parents I had to find an alternative because my parents were both highly allergic to all the dust coming from the litter.
Both of my cats took to the new litter very easy. Smells great when it’s fresh, but when they go to the restroom it kinda smells like a hamster box, however it beats hearing my parents practically cough up a lung every time I cleaned the old litter.
I give this product 4 stars because it would be awesome if Pet Smart sold the sifting litter box made by this company. I did find it on-line, however it isn't a covered one and my kitties like their privacy. I have a booda clean step litter box and am currently using some sifting liners I bought at Pet Smart as well, but it hasn't been too effective. I think I am going to ask my handy uncle to create a sifter that will fit in the booda litter box!
Hope this review helped! :)

This is by far the best kitty litter I have ever used. Once I got used to the reverse disposal method, I absolutely love it. My cats adjusted quite well. I would not recommend mixing with any clay litter to get the cats used to it because it doesn't work. I have 4 cats, and I am fostering a feral momma kitty with five 7-week old kittens and my house has absolutely no kitty odor. This kitty litter is great. There are a number of things I like about it - it is biodegradable which means flushable and it is clean - no dust and minimal tracking. Thanks to who ever invented this great product! I would recommend to my friends and I did - however, I live overseas and the commissary only carries a limited amount of this product and once my friends found out how good it is, it is now never on the shelves and I need to plan far enough ahead to get it online from PetSmart.
Pros: eliminates odor, easy to clean, low dust

My cat is very picky. My parents suggested this litter. At first I tried using only the Feline Pine. Didn't work. I followed the directions on the package. Worked perfectly. I am disabled and this is easier for me to use than the BIG bags of clay litter. I also have asthma and the dust from clay litter was bad and made it difficult for me to breathe. I try to clean out the box 1 or 2 times a week of solid waste. I do not have any problems with odor unless I do not clean out the box for 2 weeks. I agree that it can be difficult to clean out the solid waste but once you get the hang of it no problems. I can't say I agree that it is inexpensive but it is worth the difference. I would recommend this product to anyone I know who has a cat.

Cons: Hard to Sift

My kitten used to use clay litter and transitioned to this with no problems whatsoever. I feel good using it because there are no toxins and it smells wonderful. It tracks a little bit when it breaks down (as the cat urinates) but there is no smell. It's easy to know when to change it because you'll see it break down over the week and it really allows you to keep track of your cats Urinary tract health because you can see exactly where she/he pees
Pros: smells great, cat loves it
Cons: a little tracking as it gets used

I volunteer at a cat shelter and this stuff works wonders. We have at least 20 litter boxes to scoop and its so much easier than dealing with clay litter. I actually like the smell of feline pine and you dont have to use alot of it. The only thing is petsmart does not sale the litter box for it and its hard to find.

I've used Feline Pine for several years with 4 cats. It does a very good job containing odor and mess. The only negative is that it is difficult to scoop as I loose quite a few pellets.
As far as other uses, the cats tend to use one box for liquid waste and I can recycle that into the garden. I do this in early spring so that either rains or watering leaches out the ammonia before mixing with soil and planting.
Pros: good odor coverage, pleasant pine fragrence
Cons: difficult to scoop solids

I got this product because I was tired of the dusty clay litters that just didn't seem healthy. Plus I have read that you can flush this stuff! So I got it, but first problem was my cat wouldn't go near it(she is old and stubborn with change), so I did what the directions said about finicky cats, and it immediately worked, she loves it now. But this is where the HUGE problem comes in, this stuff does not mask odors AT ALL! I have been trying to deal with it the last few days but I was so disgusted by the smell today that I had to write a review. I LOVE this stuff and its so easy to use, but the smell is just gross. Presently I'm living in a 1500 sq ft home, so I can get away form the smell but soon I'm moving to an apartment. I have no clue what I'll do then. Anyways, hope this can help. I would still recommend it, I also happen to have a really sensitive nose.
Pros: easy to use, natural, product smells nice, flushable, well priced
Cons: small transition step for stubborn cats, does not mask smells!
