I have had this pen for years. It is one of the best and easiest to use and keep clean. Free standing, will not fall down and is easy to carry due to its light weight. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

We bought several play yards years ago and assembled them in our back yard for a fence for our six Maltese. Even though one can jump over, he never has. We have four placed in our livingroom for the last two born here and they always slept there.
I recommend them for anyone with small dogs or even children in their yard.
My only complaint is we can't find them as we want to replace a few panels that we've fixed.
Pros: easy to assemble, sturdy, price

We bought a Top Paw Pet Yard Containment Pen years ago and foolishly gave it away after our puppy was housebroken. Flash forward to last month and we needed it back! This time around, we bought an extension kit to temporarily block the 48" doorway between our tiled kitchen and carpeted dining room. Why not buy a gate, you say? Well, this kit was less expensive and didn't require any mounting. Win-win!
Pros: easy to assemble, sturdy, price

I have a 8lb maltese and a 15lb poodle mix.
With 4 panels, my maltese is secured and he can't get out. He seems fairly satisfied with this pen. Decent amount of room for him to walk a little bit and stretch out. The pen's hinges can be rigid to handle but it only reminds me how strong and sturdy it actually is. I'm really happy with this product.
My poodle mix has those long poodle legs and has figured out how to put his paws in the holes of the pen in order to escape. He escaped a couple times and we witnessed him as he succeeded to climb all the way up and over this pen, as well as any other gate/pen with little holes.
Obviously, we only use the pen for the maltese and not our poodle mix.
So, you need to know if your dog can climb fences!

This is a good pen, but if your dog is so inclined he/she can jump over and out of it. We bought it for our 9lb dachshund to put her in when the weather was cold outside. She would stay inside in the pen, but she jumped over it everytime, even after we placed boards over the top. She is so little, but is an excellent jumper.

This product is just what we were looking for. We weren't sure when buying because of all the previous reviews about dogs climbing out and such. We have a Yorkiepoo, Rylee (Yorkshire terrier/poodle mix) and she is only about a pound or 2. Super small. It's SO big! It really gives her so much room to walk around. We fit her training pad on one side, her bed on the other and her water and food bowls on another side along with several toys. Unlike other reviewers, we like that it has 6 sides all set up in the box... SUCH an easy set up. And we didn't have a problem shaping it how we wanted and even though the gate isn't the most ideal, it isn't hard to undo one of them to let her out. We are concerned that she could eventually climb out of it but it really all depends on the dog and it is worth a try for it. It's also one of the cheaper pens as well so that's a huge plus!
Pros: easy set up really great size great area for dog
Cons: gate isn't super easy but no big deal

My dachshund had a severe neck injury and needed to be confined for 8 weeks...the crate we had was too small and she was going crazy and doing more damage to herself trying to get out. I ran out to Petsmart and found an open box item of this pen. I got a nice 10% off, plus the previous purchaser had kept everything attached, just folded it, so I didn't even have to put it together...My dachshund is very very calm and very happy in her new home..We shaped it into a rectangle so it would fit in our t.v./office space...

My 9 week old cockapoo learned to climb out of this pen using the circular holes like a ladder. I use it to contain him in a small area while I am at work until he is old enough to be able to hold his bladder. It is large enough to have his food and bed at one end (when in a rectangular configuration) and a potty patch at the other end. I think a pen with a top or a large crate would work better. Or, a pen with vertical bars to make it hard to climb.

It is very sturdy for my puppy who is four months old but she is a jumping dog and her paws are skinny so she can jump over the the gate. Therefore, if it only came with a top it would be perfect. If the company is reading my review please find me or sugges me a top such as tarp to cover the play pen, so my pet can not jump over.
Pros: sturdy spacious
Cons: not good for jumping dogs, needs a top, alitle hard to close, grid should be up and down not accessible to paws

I bought this 3 years ago when I had an unexpected litter of kittens at my house. It was very sturdy and a great size for them when they started to become mobile, with plenty of space for food, water, litter box, and bed, and they could still romp around and play. I would let them out when I was home but it worked great to contain them at night and while I was at work. The only downside was that once they reached about 5 weeks old they learned to just climb right up it like a ladder, so at that point it didn't work anymore. But, it was great while they were younger and would especially work well with smaller dogs that can't jump or climb over.

You can take it apart to use in small areas and to block doorways and entrances. I just bought some extension kits to have more options. Its plastic, washable, durable and easy to take apart and move around
Pros: convenient
Cons: not for tall or jumping dogs

I purchased this product for my 3 month old chihuahua because I wanted a place for him to sleep inside my home. I am able to take off 2 panels so that he can use it to sleep at night.During the day I put the 2 panels back on and I put him in there when ever I leave the house. It's the perfect size for him and I like the fact that I can remove the panels if I need to.I also thought the price was great compared to other play pens that I had seen elsewhere. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it for small or medium size dogs.
Pros: very convenient

During the work day, while our bichon is home alone (she just turned 1 year old) - she stays in this play yard. There is room for her bed, meal & water tray, toys, and she has plenty of room to walk around as well. She has tried to jump over when we get home, but because she's a smaller breed, she can't get her paws on the top of the pen to do that. It is very sturdy and strong - so strong, sometimes it's hard to unlock the pieces to have a "door" for her to go in and out when we're home.

Reaching into the pen to give Dolce a toy
I bought this playpen for my 8 week old toy poodle puppy that I purchased from a breeder. The breeder had her in a smaller pen, but she has adjusted well to this new one. The pannels were already attached in the box and all I had to do was create the shape I wanted.
This pen has tons of room for my puppy's bed, toys, food & water bowls and wee wee pad (I also have a wee wee pad holder-NeatTray-which also fits fine in this pen.) She has a lot of room to romp around and play with her toys.
My puppy always jumps up on the side of the pen when she wants my attention and she gets pretty high, but she definitely cannot jump over it. Some reviews have said puppies can climb up the diamond shaped wholes, but thankfully my puppy hasn't done this yet (I don't think small puppy paws are strong enough for this to happen). She is going to be about 8 or 9 lbs fuly grown and I cannot imagine she will be able to jump this playpen or knock it over.
Overall its a great puppy pen, but the biggest con is that it doesnt have a dog door or gate. Even so, it works well for puppies or toy sized dogs because you can easily carry your dog in and out, can reach over to pet them or pick things up, and clean up any messes. If you do get this pen, I highly recommend a plastic carpet or floor cover because there is no bottom to this pen.
Pros: strong plastic, easy to clean, tall enough so puppies can't jump out, easy setup
Cons: no door/gate, a bit difficult to disassemble

Alexia recovering comfortably in her pet yard
This has been a lifesaver for me. My black lab/chow had to have knee surgery. She is a 65 lb dog and when i am home i put her in here so she is confined and not in her crate 24 hours a day. This is great for anyone that has any size dog recouping from a surgery. Also the Quick Lock Dog Cage Carrier Crock that you can put food and water and attach to your crate also works with attaching it to this pen.

I bought this containment yard for my 9 week old shichon puppy and love it! I have been using just 4 panels. There is ample room for her bed, training pad, bowls, and toys. I also went to my local home improvement store and bought a washing machine liner pan that fits right in the bottom perfectly. It helps in case my puppy has an accident and saves my floors from damage.

I purchased this for my Min Pin/Chi puppy. He was having to stay in a crate all day while gone and that was just not fair to him. The first time put him in it,he was so happy. Some have said they climb out by he doesn't even try,he likes being able to SEE everything and play and move around. It is plenty of room for a small dog,he weighs about 4lbs but also have another small dog and put them in together to play and they have plenty of room to romp for a short length of time. Definately worth the cost and very easy to set up only took about five minutes. Keeps him safe and gives me peace of mind that he is happy and has NEVER tried to get out. Have had it about two months now. EASY to clean as well.
Pros: budget friendly, safe, easy set up
Cons: extension could be more budget friendly

This playard has been a great help. My little girl (dog) has plenty of room to play around in and be able to stretch out. Before I purchased this, I had her in a crate all day while I was away from home. I know she loves this so much more. The best thing about this is that you don't have to use all of the gates that it comes with. I was able to break it down and only use 4 of them. I didn't have a lot of room to play with so this was very helpful. The only negative thing I can say about it, is that it's not that heavy so my little girl can move it around if she tries hard enough. But I keep it in the corner of my kitchen by our table so she can't move it too much. Overall, I highly recommend this product. It's cheaper in cost compared to the rest just alike and it works great!
Pros: can make bigger or smaller
Cons: not heavy enough to keep from moving around

I got this pen 3 years ago when I brought my then 7 week old Poochin puppy home. It was great for house breaking as I assembled 4 panels which fit into a washing machine pan. I now use all 6 pannels and Meka stays in the area all day while I am at work and begs to go in there at bedtime. She is 16 lbs and I have never had problems with her crawling out or knocking it over but would not use it with a bigger dog. I like the portablity of it for when I take her on trips but find it a little hard to fold up and cracked one of the panels where it fastens together. Also would love it if it had an actual gate.
