This product is great for my 2 guinea pigs. Unlike aspen bedding which I found was hard on their feet this product was perfect for them. Its soft and is in small strips.Only issue is it still smell bad in my room...Don't know if its the bedding or the dung.

Pros: low dust, easy to clean

Again as a teenager pine bedding was all there was to choose from and i never had any problems with my guinea pigs in it and they lived beyond their years. However if you try this and see visable signs that its bothering your pets eyes and nose just stop using it and get something else because now with time, research and a multitude of new products and ideas out there and now as pet owners we are more educated about small animals its easy to make a choice best suited to you and your pet. Also never base your decision on price either because that could mean life or death for your pet.

I love this and have been using Pine Bedding for my hamster since I got her(6 months) and now I have two chinchillas and use pine bedding also! It is excellent odor control and makes cean up easy: just empty, scrub down the cage, and replace with more pine! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

I use this litter to clean my guinea pigs cage and I love it! It's easy to clean, no dust, and eliminates odor every well. Highly recommended!

This came with my cage starter kit. It doesn't absorb well and stinks badly. Needless to say, I switched to a different brand months ago.

ok so i've always used pine bedding. I don't push my face into the bedding and inhale the scent of urine, lol, so i havent had any odor problems with this bedding. Hamster love to burrow in this bedding, i guess because its natural and fluffy and stuff :) I'll keep on using this pine bedding, and the price is okay too. I recommend it, but it can get kinda dusty and mice dont like it that much because their little noses are so sensitive to dust... but great for hamsters!
(= Just Call Me Crazy =)

Pros: eliminates odor, easy to clean

Cons: Hard to Sift

I decided that I really didn't want the recycled newspaper fiber bedding and that I wanted to get natural bedding for the well-being of my two hamsters. Once I finished cleaning my hamsters cage and put this bedding in for the first time and set my hamsters inside, they dashed all through the cage exploring then went into their Igloo and rested and started exercising more and getting healthier.

I use this for my chinchilla and it is GREAT!!! Chinchillas have senesitive digestive system so I stay away from the paper bedding, but this one he can chew on and I don't have to worry if he will be ok.

A big package of pine bedding came with my cage starter kit, and I instantly fell in love. I'm getting my cavy soon, and I think he'll love his nesting. It smells nice, looks good, and it doesn't have a big price tag attached to it! All in all, I'm impressed so far.

My mice have no problem with this bedding. The bag looks small, but I have a large tank and in a month, less than half is gone. It's slightly dusty- but for someone who has a glass tank where things stick to the sides, I have no complaints. I love the fresh pine smell. My mice also enjoy digging around in it, and are perfectly fine with sleeping on it. It's very soft and loose. I have heard that Pine is bad for rodents, so I will be switching, but for any other animal this is great.

Pros: smells good, soft

I had used this product for 4 years when I had my dwarf hamster Linoe. It worked great I didn't clean my hamster's cage every week so it worked overall well when it came to absorbency. When I first opened the package it was really hard to take out of the package is it was packed so tight. It was soft & I am guessing it kept my hamster's cage warm since he didn't tear up the newspaper I would put at the bottom of the cage.

Pros: absorbent soft & can keep cage warm.

Great, with one drawback...

First off, the picture of the product here on the website is a little deceiving. This is not another wood shaving bedding that is tightly packed into a brick. It is actually packed very loosely in the bag, so you don't have to wait for it to expand.

The pine shavings are very small and fine, making it surprisingly soft. In my opinion, the softness of this product is very comparable to Carefresh, what I had been using before. It does have a natural pine smell, but it is not pungent.

So far I've not had any issues with absorbency or with bad smells. However, I only have one small Roborovski hamster, so I can't say how it would stand up to a large critter or several critters.

The only drawback I've experienced so far is that the product is so light that it won't hold my hamster's exercise wheel in place when she's running, and before I know it the wheel is hitting the wall of the cage. However, I'd been planning to mount the wheel directly onto her cage anyway, so it won't be an issue for much longer.

My hamster loves burrowing through this stuff, more than she did her previous bedding.

I would definitely recommend this product to others! It works great, for my lil hamster at least. And the price is VERY nice!

My Gerbil Remy absolutely adores the pine bedding, for some reason she loves to chew on her pine bedding than eat her food or treats. But if your small pet doesnt perfer cotton or any thing sharpe poking at them than pine is the way to go

My dwarf hamster "Lucky" loves this bedding!!! He likes to dig in to the wood and shove parts of the wood to where he wants to sleep!

I had to but this for a change and it was cheap and big! I regret it! It is soooooooo dusty hard which hurt my guinea pigs feet. Not absorbent! Waste of money!
