This bottle had one pro, as in that it didn't leak. The bad thing is is that it is close to impossible to get any water out. I put my finger on the roll ball and roll it back and firth and I may get one, maybe 2 drops out and I dont feel thats near enough for my 2 gerbils. I returned it and got a new one

I bred Dwarf Hamsters for YEARS and still even doing some now..

This is the water bottle I use! I love it.. Never leaks, never got rusty, leakey, ect.

This bottle is awesome! There is a ball at the bottom of it and it makes it leak free and easy to get the water. The only problem is that it is a little noisy.

I brought this one to replace the original water bottle that looked really hard on my hamsters neck and i LOVE it and so does she!!! I love how it is the proper size in order to plug the hole at the top of the cage and it doesn't leak and is also the proper height for my hamster!!! I've let my hamster use it for almost a month now and nothing bad to say about this water bottle. Look no further when buying a water bottle for any CritterTrail cage!

Pros: fits lovely onto my cage, doesn't leak, hasn't been chewed on, hasn't rusted, way better then the original

This is the bottle I got to replace the old water bottle. The old one was straight and had a little tip an the ent. This is so much better and easier to drink from. 100% satisfaction!

My two female gerbils, Fang and Chihiro, use this just fine. It doesn't leak, which is good, and they can't chew on it either. It was the best $7 spent on them, lol.
I had to use a tie to hang it, since my aquarium's lid is pretty high up there, but my gerbils use it just fine, and they havent chewed on it so far. I think its a pretty good buy.

The CritterTrail cage I bought for my hamster came with a water bottle looked a little rough on the neck and was really low to the ground that he had to dig lower to get a drink. So I bought this water bottle and my hamster doesn't have to bend his neck so much anymore, it isn't too much higher from the bottom of the cage though. But when you pour the water your hamster didn't drink out, the bottle will empty up to 3 times faster. This one doesn't hold as much H2o as the original bottle so I recommend keeping the original so you can place that one in his cage instead if you leave for a few days.

Pros: easier on the neck, empties faster

Cons: doesn't hold as much as the original

This is the one that should come with the CritterTrail cages. It replaced the one that came with the cage I bought a few days ago.
My Robo Dwarf could not drink from the supplied bottle but he loves this one.
It does not leak and he has no problem drinking from this one.
Great!!!

Pros: no leaks, fits the ct cage perfectly, even dwarves have no problem drinking from it

I use this for my CritterTrail One Cage and my Hammy loves it! After a hard workout on his wheel he always drinks out of this. And no leaks at all [ unless of course you shake it, hehe]. Perfect hight for my Russian Dwarf, Berry.

I purchased 2 of these bottles for my CT cages (one for travel) and so far, there have been no problems. One arrived slightly bent so I am exchanging it in the store tomorrow, but the other seems just fine. It does not leak very much. A few drips are fine and required so hammies can always find the bottles. This one is great. CritterTrail bottles tend to be very cheap (except for the Discovery model, which almost pours out when you attach it) but this bottle is nice. It just sits at the top and is at a good height for dwarfs and regular sized hammies. The size is good too (5 oz) because it is enough water for a day (change water daily!)

After getting my first Crittertrail cage, I realized the water bottle that came with it wasn't the best. So I bought this. And honesty, it's not that much better. The ball is very hard for weaker hamsters to push up to drink from. My hamster struggled with this and it was very difficult for him to drink from it. When I switched water bottles again he no longer had any problems.

Face it, the water bottles that come with the Critter Trail cages we buy are terrible. They leak like a water fall!
This water bottle doesn't leak at ALL!
I was expecting at least a few drops to happend when I first filled it up, but nothing happened.
(But if you shake it very violently a little might come out, hehe.)
The water bottles that come with the cages can hurt a hamsters back and neck. Some dwarf hamsters might not even reach it!
This water bottle eliminates that problem.
I recomend everyone to buy this because you will surely be satisfied!

I got this waterbottle because my hamster, Tiko, died of an illness that we didn't want to spread to my most recent hamster, Mario. I'm not sure if he knows how to use it, so just to make sure I get him some water, I get the tip wet and I hold it near him. Sometimes he understands how to use the spring, others he doesn't. If you buy this, make SURE your hamster knows how to use it.
