I have this for my Robo and he had a PetVille cage ad we were trying to connect it to a little bucket cage. At first we connected it with an empty vacuum tube but it looked dangerous. So I came across these. They are average tubes. They do the job, are colorful, and are easy for hamsters to grip on. Although that big green one kind of scares me. I had mine diagonal but one time I used it vertical and dwarf hamsters seem to fall down instead of climb down. They are also a tad bit hard to press together and clean.

this is a very good product! it dose not fit over my pets cage (super pet crittertrail one) but now it looks awesome. i think it needs to have more parts. they won't stay up by its self you need to rest it against something. if you have a short haired syrian hamster they can turn around in the tubes. east to clean and very beatumas.

These tubes are a bit hard to get apart once they are together and they are a bit small in diameter, they could be a little larger. The old Hartz tubes were larger in diameter and it was easy for a gerbil to turn around inside the tube if they wanted to, these are too narrow and tight and I don't think our gerbil is too impressed, she is hesitant to use them. For a smaller animal they would be fine.

i really love theses tubes and so does my hamster. they are colorful and fun. i use these to connect cages. they can be hard to clean but that isnt a problem because they dont get really dirty.

I bought several of these packs for my hammy (RIP Belle <\3) and she loved them. The grooves in the tube made it easy for the hamster/mouse/gerbil to climb (or slide) up/down the tubes. They have ventalation, so the animal does not sufficate. These tubes are VERY durable, and is virtually impossible for any animal to escape. This also makes the tubes very difficult to clean. Once a month, take the tubes apart (the hard part) and soak them in warm water and soap. Wipe dry, and reconnect! It is limitless to what you can do with these tubes! I believe every hammy should have these!

I had a hamster and used these tubes for him and he loved them! My hamster passed away a few years ago and I missed having a rodent. I went to Petsmart to get gerbils. I now have two lovely gerbils that have a good sized cage, but just to make it a bit more fun for them, I added these tubes and they love it! They play inside of them hours on end! This product is great and I definitely recommend it!

I purchased this expansion pack for my male russian dwarf hamster and let me just start off by saying that he absolutely adores it! I myself on the other hand am not too particularly fond of it. Mostly because my hammy likes to urinate anywhere and EVERYWHERE especially the plug. Also i don't really see much value in this because you're paying 12 dollars for 8 pieces BUT you will most likely not be able to use all 8 pieces like myself. Nonetheless it is a great product but i highly recommend that if you buy this buy another expansion to go along. For example there is a 20 dollar one here at petsmart that comes with alot of pieces including an external wheel which is ideal for multiple small pets.

My hamsters went to the bathroom in there and it was really stinky, plus their urine dripped through the holes and on to my floor. YUCK. The hamsters hid in the tubes and I couldn't pull them out without opening the tube and sending my poor hamsters flying. Plus the tubes broke open really easily.

My two mice love the Funnels. It is their favorite hide out. I like the colors and how easy it is to create something individual and personal. However the plastic rings don't like to be disconnected too many times. They wear out and I have to keep them as they are. That makes the cleaning a bit of a challenge. But with pressure water from my shower I get them clean anyway.

I just bought this and put the pieces how I wanted. They snap together very easily and are durable. To get the plastic rims off, you have to squeeze two sides to make them pop off. It's tricky getting them apart. You have to squeeze and pull the pieces sideways to get them apart. That's good and bad: Good because it means that they will stay together and you don't worry about the animal getting lost if they come apart. Bad because I felt like I was going to break them. But so far they are strong and I'm not worried.

I have had these tubes for a loooong time! Since like, 2004. a coupke of them are broken, but they work really well! all of my hammies love to run in them, and in the end, the little bubble things, they love to stash their seeds and sleep their. My golden hammie can even use them! But when i bought mine, it was at a different store where they were only 1 dollar each. sooo, at petsmart they are a little expensive. but they are worth it!!

I like this because my hamster loves going in it. No one can get her, so she hides from people and its fun to watch her. They are easy to clean and put them together. I had a little diffuculty taking them apart, but it is fine to do every couple days.

I've been reading the reviews that say the tubes are hard to open and clean. While they can be hard to open they are extremely easy to clean all you do is put them in warm soapy water then use a BABY BOTTLE BRUSH to wash the inside of the tubes rise and shake or just let air dry or my way a little of both=)
